No reason to feel sorry for Tessmann when he chooses his own agent. At a certain point, Tessmann starts to rub me the wrong way just for giving this guy a platform.
And for building very close relationships with his clients, which encompassed giving them a bollocking where needed. Old Big Nose Ibrahimovic took him on for that reason
He'll likely move for one reason or another. According to an article out Venezia face Bankruptcy and re-starting in 'D' if they don't raise 10M by the end of the month and another 30M or 40M in a few months. Supposedly Drake has been called in to help a CEO friend at the club. Boh.
Venezia has a Coppa Italia match away to Brescia on Sunday and Tessmann was left off the roster: https://www.veneziafc.it/en/news/coppa-italia-24-25-matchday-squad-for-brescia-venezia-fc
Yeah, the story ran yesterday, but it was last summer it happened. They wouldn’t have been able to remain in Serie B had they not gotten the money.
That sounds like they don't want to cap tie him to them and then trade him. Meaning purchasing clubs in Italy wouldn't like that.
Along with the French, the Italians are the most ruthless when it comes to administrative demotions due to financial deficiencies.
Venice, Di Francesco: "Busio is 100% part of the project. The company decides on Tessmann" Venezia coach Eusebio Di spoke at a press conference on the eve of the Italian Cup match against Brescia. Repubblica: "Tessmann-Fiorentina? The negotiation hasn't fallen through yet, but Viola is also following other profiles" Fiorentina continues to work hard on the market given the imminent start of the championship. The negotiation for Tessmann has not yet fallen through.

fwiw, it looks like these stories popping up are based on a recent Italian GQ article about how the Drake thing went down last season. Folks are doing the "write a story based on a story thing" without making the timeline clear.
Right, and his girlfriend wouldn’t want him to forget his D. Just like he wouldn’t want her to forget her WAP.
This source is saying the Fiorentina deal is practically dead, and rates the chances of it actually happening at 5%. https://www.violanews.com/calciomer...i-definitivamente-saltato-ecco-la-situazione/
Then I'll have to stop repping all of your updates and change my rep ratio to 1 of 20 posts. Didn't I/we make clear to you how important this deal was?
Same report from the same source in tweet form: Speranze ormai minime per Tanner #Tessmann alla #Fiorentina dal #Venezia. I club avevano chiuso l’accordo per 5M + bonus e per il calciatore era pronto un quinquennale da 1,2M a stagione. Nessuna intesa con gli agenti sulle commissioni e operazione (quasi) tramontata. @violanews— Nicolò Schira (@NicoSchira) August 12, 2024 Nico's tweet about Tessmann's deal falling through has gotten Fener, Gala, and Besiktas fans all in a tizzy on Twitter. I honestly do not see that move working out, but I'm glad they have something to believe in.
Well, the transfer window doesn't close until the end of the month. But the problem with the Torino option is that their expected sale of Serbian midfielder Ivan Ilic to Zenit St. Petersburg never materialized. And it would have freed up the funds to purchase Tessmann. So, looks unlikely at this point...
