Let’s say Tessmann and Venetia’s owner hop in the car, drive to fiorintina with his registration in hand and say let’s do this now.

Who could his agent sue and possibly win damages?
Fiorintina? Not a chance
Venezia? Only if a sell on clause exists.
Tessmann? Rights to proceeds from a transfer fee were not his to give.

Wow. It's still weird to me this is not reported at all in English language, not even the usual "cut and paste click bait" spots. Google gives 4 pages of results in the past 24 hrs. But none in English. Very strange. Be nice for someone to get Tessmann's word on this first hand.

I think the tweet is a bad summary, the article actually says that Fiorentina decided to stop pursuing Tessmann AFTER the Richardson deal was finalized.

Alfredo Pedulla's reporting is that no one has confirmed that Fiorentina are done with Tessmann, but that there hasn't been any communication between Fiorentina and Tessmann's camp, so Tessmann is "waiting". According to him, everything is set, but Fiorentina might pass because they're frustrated with Tessmann's agents.

What English-language sites do you believe exist where it's all things Venezia?

 

Believe me, I get it, but there had been English-language sites cut-n-pasting news of the pending transfer and even of the Inter collapse. Just seems odd to me there's just 0 bothering to cut-n-paste the Florence collapse. Maybe cause the Olympics are over. Usually lazy "news" sites at least go to the "trouble" to scrape others work - and there's easily 3-4 pages of "news" on this in Italian. Just find it interesting - and since there is nothing else to comment on in the world of Tessmann till we learn more about this situation... here we are.

 

I imagine there was a lot more noise in English for the inter saga….because it was Inter. The eight non-bilingual English speakers outside of Italy that give a shit about Fiorantina probably have a group chat.
