There was a very big documentary that recently aired here in Canada on the Khadr family. The head was considered to be one of the close associates of Osama Bin Laden. One of the sons is in X-Ray for killing an American medic. The head was killed in a recent fight with Pakistani troops and one of his sons was paralyzed in the fight. The women still back the family. Yea.. i happened to see that documentary. It was on CBC, and it aired as "The National" Documentary. IT was really explosives.. it had all sides to it... Funny thing is that after what happened, with the death of the dad, the killing of the bro and the spinal injury of the other bro, the mom, who is still sympathetic to the jihad and the killing of innocent wants to come to Canada for medicne, but at the same time has full support for the ideology of Al Qaida and Usama... I wonder what the CCRA and CSIS would have to say about her

I'm going to assume that something got lost in translation, because the article certainly did not "accuse all of the al kahdr family". It was a profile of father, mother, their daughter and their sons who happen to be named Al Kahdr, all talking about "dreaming of being a shaheed for islam." The "Family" part of the title"The Khadr's: A terrorist Family" was used to describe THIS particular husband, wife and children, not everyone with the family name "Al Khadr."
I think they are mistakening for a tribal family. Its like assuming all the Jone's are accused..... But there are so many jone's out there...

Apparently now the the grandmother of the family is now suing the Federal government over one of the Khadr sons (The one still in GetMo). She's trying nwo to stop the federal government from either investigating or prosecuting the son in GetMo. The lawsuit also is trying to prevent the Canadian government from helping the US in the same matters.
Look! The family admited to being members of the Al Qaida..Yet, they try to use the hand of the law and persuadeand sue the federal government not to prosecute sons, who may have vital information about possible targets al qaida might be using, etc... The Canadian edition of TIME magazine now has an article on Canada and the Terrorist connection. The article is based on a soon-to-be released book. I just might go out and buy the book. Funny thing you mention the Arar case. The wife is going to run as an NDP candidate in Ottawa-South in the next election. Harper seems to be poised to win the leadership on the first ballot. Stronach will still run in the next election for a seat in the house.
sounds like a good article too digest. Canada probably has some sort of Network of Terror in Canada. If not, Islamic based than maybe it is from the Tamil Tigers or the Sikhs in Vancouver.
