What I thought strange was the way he posted an interview showing a truly biased interviewer asking some of the most unfair and loaded questions imaginable, and a reasonable, coherent interviewee able to field all of the questions. I came away from that little clip feeling pretty comfortable with Biden.
Yea me too. I thought to myself "this guy could probably sit down and talk with the leader of another country without getting red in the face, let alone making fools of us all."
It was funny how the reporter clearly thought she was being "tough," while Biden literally laughed at her questions. Epic gotcha interview FAIL.
And yet, the GOP 'bots are so delusional that they think that Biden was like a deer in the headlights. THAT's what's hysterical. (And the reason why they're gonna get their asses HANDED to them.)
I didn't catch what organization the 'reporter' worked for. They seemed like the questions Steven Colbert would ask. Does anyone know what media company she works for?
That was absolutely pathetic. I feel embarrassed for her, thinking she was being hard line, but really just repeating a bunch of phony concerns perpetrated by email forwards.
Sorry. Not the best choice of a word. Nor does it even work within the context either, I guess. But, they did get it in the ass.
Biden absolutely crushed her. And you could tell by her lack of follow-ups that she didn't even write her questions and had little understanding of them or Biden's answers.
Mocking the reporter is very difficult to do in practice but very very effective if you can pull it off.
I am sure I just meant stuff like that requires a proper acting performance, because you have to draw the audience with you, so that together you share a joke at the expense of the reporter.... Unless you are a trained comedian, stuff like that is difficult, in particular because the reporter is in control of events. Top TV personalities always have a range of 'tricks' that they can pull of at will. e.g. Bill Clinton has his soft laugh where he looks slightly away and down, uses a couple of holding words and slows everything down, before delivering a one liner. He does it with an impish half smile, which queues the audience that he is having some fun. This is the sort of reason Palin is so wooden on TV, because she doesn't have the experience and variations required to act. She is actually much better when she 'breaks out of role' and talks normally.
Joe Biden was here in Greenville, NC speaking at East Carolina University monday morning. Good speech. His foreign policy experience will be very key for an Obama administration. Would be ready to step in as president if needed
Another Greenville, another Majik Mart....Jeffer grab your fiddle. Sorry.....I just love that song lyric.
