I still wonder what his "Something must be going on with Biden..." post was cunningly trynig to hint at. Maybe the search for confidential documents at his vacation home that turned up nothing??? I have no idea.

Over Christmas on a long run, I went down the rabbit hole of organised opposition to renewable energy with the excellent Dr Volts podcast. This is something i had no idea existed, though i had heard Trump's bizarre ramblings about wind farms.

Essentially there is a well funded grass roots opposition to windfarms - based on nimbyism and conspiracies.

Whether this is another one I have no idea, but it seems like there was a splash of coverage about this including on Fox but also mainstream media. I wouldn't be surprised if there are efforts to misconstrue / mislead as usual.

What? No bragging about winning the election or about how good he was with vegetables?

Biden just loves picking up the phone and talking to strangers - completely opposite personality type from me, lol.

Ron Klein gave a very insightful interview before leaving the WH. Worth reading. Bottom line, experience counts!

Ron Klain Looks Back on Biden’s First Two Years as President
“We have been declared dead, dead, dead many times,” the White House’s departing chief of staff says, of the Administration. “You just have to keep after it.”

"Over all, I’d say the biggest thing that an experienced team brings is a sense of persistence and not panicking. So we live in a world where the news cycle’s very fast, and we have been declared dead, dead, dead many times during the campaign, since we’ve been here.
Those of us who’ve been around know that if you stick with it you can get things done. And that the first read isn’t always the right read, and that you just have to keep after it and keep after it and keep after it. And I think that is the biggest thing that our experience brings."

Public Policy Polling: “On the heels of a successful State of the Union address last week Joe Biden has some of the best numbers of his Presidency, with almost as many voters (44%) now approving of the job he’s doing as disapprove (47%). Biden leads all of his leading potential Republican opponents for re-election. It’s 47-44 over Ron DeSantis, 49-45 against Donald Trump, 45-39 versus Nikki Haley, and 47-39 matched up with Mike Pence.”

“The 4 point lead over Trump is notably similar to the 2020 outcome between them and speaks to the political climate being in a relatively similar place to where it has been over the last few years. Of course that still means a close race in the key Electoral College states would be likely in a Biden-Trump rematch, but Biden’s standing has not meaningfully slipped relative to 2020.”

“Our poll also finds that Democrats would be better off running Biden again than they would be with any of the best known alternatives to him in the par

Lawless Republican judges is an accelerating problem. Senator Wyden has called on Biden to ignore an expected lawless ruling from that Texas judge to ban mifepristone. Is this the “break glass in event of emergency” case? It should have happened already, but this’ll do.

I do, too. I got fired from a Kelly telemarketing gig I took one college summer because I spent too much time just gabbing with folks, especially old ones.
