These two pieces from Josh Marshall sum up what I've been thinking all day:

    https://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblo...aretoken/4372a450-8459-4b3d-8c8d-9ee928864f16

    https://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/an-offer-trump-cant-refuse

I also can't help but think that, had the parade been the "menacing" parade that Trump apparently wanted, instead of the smiling and waving parade that he got, then maybe he wouldn't be so gung-ho about a big show of military force in Iran. He got embarrassed by a military show that didn't look tough. So now he wants to look tough. Yes, I 100% believe Trump "thinks" this way.

Because neither Israel l, nor the US want to shoot down a Chinese military aircraft.

Or that the Chinese made their intentions clear to Israel and the flight wouldn't be interfered with.

It is also most likely China is evacuating their people. The chances of Chinese aircraft bringing supplies to Iran is the same as Iran downing X-Wings

Speaking of downing stuff they destroyed an Israeli drone

So weird huh they make a big fuss about the drone but are keeping the proof about F35 to theirselves

  5. If that's the case, they wouldnot turn off the tracting devices/responders? AND told both Israel and the USA what they were going to do, to get them safely out of Iran.
Your scenario screams for getting noticed to avoid being downed.
So, no..your pov is based on liquid soil.

The only Chinese aircrat that is going to Iran has their transporders on

The ones with the transporders off are mass halucinations of the same people who downed 4x F35

Frankly, the evidence that he doesn't think this way is so lacking is glaring.

US airbase in Qatar has been evacuated apparently. I would get gas this morning, because Iran’s first step in retaliating against a US attack is probably going to be to mine the Gulf strait.

  9. ???
It werenot Iranians, who talked about them.
Nobody directly involved in the conflict talked about it.
It were people, who's business it is to track and follow planes, who noticed those disappeared planes/transponders.

He knows better than what The Telegraph reported, didn't you know? This was known on social media a while ago but even when mainstream does report it, they'll reject it because it doesn't fit their narrative - go figure

    Pour out some arak then

Quick look at Wolfies wiki. He was appointed by Dumbya to lead the World Bank, had an affair with an Arab staffer and was the only World Bank president to be forced out. :D

    And right after 9/11:

In the first emergency meeting of the National Security Council on the day of the attacks, Rumsfeld asked, "Why shouldn't we go against Iraq, not just al-Qaeda?" with Wolfowitz adding that Iraq was a "brittle, oppressive regime that might break easily—it was doable," and, according to John Kampfner, "from that moment on, he and Wolfowitz used every available opportunity to press the case." The idea was initially rejected, at the behest of Secretary of State Colin Powell, but, according to Kampfner, "Undeterred Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz held secret meetings about opening up a second front—against Saddam. Powell was excluded." In such meetings they created a policy that would later be dubbed the Bush Doctrine, centering on "pre-emption" and the war on Iraq, which the PNAC had advocated in their earlier letters

I completely understand you don't like this news, because of what it means/or could mean for the developments in the conflict, but your comment reeks like whistling in the dark, passing a cemetary.

I'm struggling to find well vetted sources that are up to the minute on this conflict but there seems to be agreement that IDF is now targeting airports across Iran.

  17. There's a huge reason for Xi to make efforts to help Iran to protect itself.
China depends for a huge part on Iranian oil, they are said to buy about 90% of the oil produced by Iran.
So to Xi Iran is a strategic and economical vital pawn.
After the first strike against oil facilities by Israel it became silent on that front.
    So what is the plan?
And how is China going to react, if their vital strategic interests are being threatened?

Looks like Iranian government planes are heading to Oman. Perhaps one last shot before Fordow goes kaput?

If you can’t trust Americanpartisan.org and deepnewz with the z not a s, what can you trust.

Im missing the days when people just pretended to know things for sure. Now people google, don’t read the article or watch the tweet, and hit “post reply” with a prideful flourish. Then we have to look closer to see if the person is bullshitting us.

I guess bigsoccer isn’t immune to the societal trend of true and false being determined by whether it helps or hurts your team.

Right in the first paragraph, I hit a problem, for me.

People make the argument that these attacks are just the current phase of the Iran-Israel war that’s been going on for years through Iranian proxies, and was accelerated by the Hamas attack on the music festival. That would make it a legal war. And it’s a pretty darn good argument.

And the thing is, Iran has no normal reason to be obsessed with Israel. Look at a damn map. They’re far from neighbors. If Iran left Israel alone, Israel would be thrilled to leave Iran alone.

Iran is like everyone else. They love the ********ing around, and then bitch and whine at the finding out.
