Wow...This is actually both funny and tragic. The IDF doing exactly what they've accused Hamas of doing in Gaza. You can't make this up...

If Iran strike it tonight, it become a good PR opportunity

I dont know how much of all these various tweets are true. Everything is in flux and there's a lot of disinformation on both sides.
But if there is any credence to that, Israel may never use the human shield argument. But as a general rule of thumb, dont trust news outlets or tweets.

Israel claims it has gained control of airspace over Tehran | Israel | The Guardian

"The US and France have already stated their readiness to defend Israel, and American media reports have suggested that US forces have already been in action. The UK government has said its forces had not provided any military assistance to Israel and the prime minister, Keir Starmer, has emphasised the need for de-escalation."

I can imagine Israeli jets screaming over Tehran now much as they did over Lebanon, announcing their arrival.

Once you've conceded your airspace, you're toast, right?

Probably depends what your goals are. If it's to destroy any missile launcher, they might be able to destroy them easier as each payload decreases and can be easier detected from the sky. If it's some underground enrichment facility, depends how deep those are and how big the bunker busters Israel Air Force possess. If this entire mission doesn't set back Iran's nuclear program by at least 5-10 years, then this was pointless.

reading this article makes one think that full capitulation by the regime is inevitable and forthcoming. and wouldn't that be good news. the swings here are dramatic but now it sounds as though the iron dome did its job, again. and honestly, Israel would do the whole world a favor if it could smash the mullahs who would like to see us all dead.

It's honestly hilarious that the biggest Israel-haters on the forum also support a regime that arms terrorist organizations and hates the West and all the values those same Israel-haters claim to admire. The hypocrisy here is just astonishing.

Clicking on the link to FOX "News" you enclosed takes us to their homepage, filled with photos of Tel Aviv being hit.

Different photos which are also far less dramatic, not to mention implausible, For starters the building on the left could burn like that if it was a container or conduit for highly flammable materials, which office blocks aren't.

Here's their photo, of the same area
    [IMG]

Now perhaps I'm wrong - it's happened before and will happen again - in which case you will, of course, be delighted to share the source for your photo so people can compare.

If you're going to post AI-generated shit, could you please have a little self-respect and look around for something, anything, that isn't this pathetically obvious. For starters
    * the cockpit canopy is closed and undamaged
    * the tail fins are facing in the wrong direction
    * the tail fins are the wrong shape
    * the tail fins are in the wrong places on the fuselage and
    * the engine - on a shot down plane!! - is still running
On top of which the effing grass is completely unburnt and largely undisturbed!

Anyone with half a brain could see it was a fake photo....I mean unless your entire existence is not spent in your parents basement playing Call of Duty (not that there's anything wrong with CoD).

PS dear @Iranian Monitor that's an AI mockup of the wrong fcuking plane!

An F-35 looks like this and there's an F-18 below. Both canopies are completely different to the one in your photo, wherever you got it

Was the most absurd error: the fin pointing the wrong way, or the still-running engine?

    Show Spoiler

Neither, it’s the nearly undisturbed grass.

There are a handful of posters who are complete nutters, if not bots. For the most annoying, I have one, occasionally two, extremely dumb things they’ve posted, the kinds of things that are complete credibility killers. Like, NietzscheIsDead saying he didn’t know any Harris supporters. (He’s over in the soccer parts pontificating on alpha men and betas and soccer and American football. It’s a hoot. Check it out.). Bsky22 left, but he was an insane MLS hater who said the US would be better off if MLS had never existed. When asked about the 27 youth academies we have now, he said that the clubs could have academies just without a first team. What???!!! And don’t get me started on Adam Tash claiming Garber “got to” Poch.

This ridiculous photoshop is gonna be Iranian Monitor’s.

I’d forgotten he’s almost certainly a paid propagandist of some type. But yeah, that photoshop of a plane, you can’t come back from something that ridiculous without a full mea culpa and a few weeks of self imposed exile for reflection.

If you had bothered to enter the quote you posted into Google, you'd have found that the closest match - a perfect match in fact - is the Twitter feed of a guy who goes by the name of Sulaiman Ahmed, who has acquired a following among followers of Iranian events for various reasons, exemplified by this post from yesterday.

In case the difficulties are not obvious, 1) fighter jets aren't stored underneath office/apartment blocks because there's no runway, 2) submarines need access to the sea and 3) neither F-35s nor submarines look like Star Wars fighters.

I’m somewhat offended by all the fake news about every ********ing thing that happens.

I’m deeply offended that so much of it is so slapdash. Like, how disrespectful is it for these propagandists to think they’re fooling me? Nobody lies with respect anymore.

In part I’m making an insanely obscure reference to a perfect line from a forgotten TV show, but I’m also pointing out that the total incompetence of the propaganda is a symptom of the larger disease, namely, a world wide communications infrastructure that is tailor made for fascists and fascism. It’s a degenerate closed feedback loop. Because it’s closed it doesn’t care about plausibility. It’s in its own ecosystem of lies and bullshit. Because it’s closed it causes everyone in it to develop a flabby mind. I’m in despair in terms of imagining a solution.

Now, there are reports of the Ichilov Hospital's having underground facilities now being activated: the underground car park designed for use as an emergency medical facility in wartime. From the not-at-all-friendly-to-Israel Turkish state TV for example
    https://trt.global/world/article/73bd8a03bd27

That's radically different from saying that the hospital contains "a fortified military base", let alone that it "is" one.

Which begs the question: did you post that shit because you're bone-idle, a gullible moron, have a hyper-active pavlovian impulse or just a pathetically clumsy liar?

If you are a liar, as @superdave said, why not lie with respect. Not for me, mind, but for yourself
