Surely, him being Putin's mouthpiece would imply that what he's saying carries some weight, wouldn't it?

I doubt Vlad would do it, (he has enough problems of his own without taking on someone else's), but it's possible I suppose. Now, getting material there is another matter.

Certainly that's a LOT more likely than north Korea which is a non-starter IMO.

Easier said than done once you let the nuclear genie out of the bottle. I’d bet China has nowhere near this level of influence.

I mean…this is exactly why Iran would want nukes. So they can tell anyone…any time…to ******** off…including those that are currently aligned with them

If the goal is to communicate, sure. But Medvedev’s goal is to propagandize. Taking his word for something is as foolish as taking the word of Putin or Bibi or Trump.

This disorganization is bad for America.

Chaos is appealing on reality TV, but not in the White House.

Bibis probably slobbering Donnie "Great job, Mr President. But you have the once-in-a-halflife-time to be the first president since Truman to use a nuke. How great would that be? Both Truman and Trump start with Trum. And that's very close to 'triumph' Think about that, Mr. President"

Sharing this... that's a lot of taxpayers money + putting troops at risks over not knowing where Iran's program stands as of today.

Since regime change is the endgame, I don't see how that's feasible without troops on the ground. All Iran has to do is not take the bait of retaliating "directly"* at the US while keep bombarding Israel.

*Iran might end retaliating via its proxies

The MAGA talking points are out

"If you are not longer MAGA because Trump destroyed Iran nuclear weapons, then you were never MAGA"

There are already reports and doubts circulating in Western media as to the exent of the damage of the underground facility in Fordow. Irans stockpile of enriched uranium and newer models of centrifuges (IR-6) seem to have been moved, and US officials are unsure about their location.

And the program no longer is safeguarded ny international inspectors, certainly not in the same way as before.

This doesnt smell like a huge success.

In theory, I don't disagree, but given the last almost 70 years, is that really realistic? Say what you will, but it seems the only thing that's clearly understood in the ME is power. Yes, that is sad to say out loud, but unfortunately, it's also the bitter truth.

Regime change is just nonsense. This administration is bound to repeat every mistake of the last 25 years. To pressure the regime and threaten it's existence will open them for rather irrational options like blockade of the gulf of hormus or terrorist attacks. They have thrown back the Iranian nuclear program, probably for many years and they have proved that they can strike whenever they think they have to. Everything more is megalomaniacal.

Smells like Bullshit. Bibi has Trump by the short and curlies. I know Trump lacks logic but is it really that he saw Fox rave over the Israel attack and want some of that love? Like really that was it!?!? Both USA and Israel are ruled by the same kind of corrupt authoritarian person. Israel's guy is at least smart in some way yet ruthless while Trump is just dumb and vain. Great work to the people of each country for turning over the keys to these knuckle ********s.

Now I know who greenlighted the US bombings!

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has called on China to prevent Iran from closing the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's most important shipping routes.

His comments came after Iran's state-run Press TV reported that parliament had approved a plan to close the Strait but added that the final decision lies with the Supreme National Security Council.

Any disruption to the supply of oil would have profound consequences for the economy. China in particular is the world's largest buyer of Iranian oil and has a close relationship with Tehran.

Another evidence of the collapse of all morality and deep racism reigning in an archetypal colonial society such as Israel:

"In Ramat Gaan, a suburb of Tel Aviv, a man accuses his neighbor in a video of having prevented him from entering a shelter because he was Arab. In the north of Israel, a nurse also assures that some of her patients have reserved the same fate for her, and for the same reason. Finally in Jaffa, a similar scenario was repeated, as Iran responds to Israeli bombings by sending missiles and drones.

"There was a case where people living in an old building were refused access to a shelter located in a new building and told directly: ''We don’t want Arabs'," reports Abed Abu Shehaded, a representative of the Palestinian community in Jaffa. Often, people see us as second-class citizens. But I think that saying that we are considered enemies is more fair", continues this former municipal councillor.

Once one of the largest Arab cities in the Middle East, Jaffa is now considered a mixed city, these urban centers where Palestinians with Israeli citizenship coexist with Jewish Israelis. "By living in these cities, one gets used to the daily racism that only amplifies during times of crisis. But whereas here it had never been a matter of life and death, now it is," says Abed Abu Shehaded.

The Israeli government announced the deployment of 1,000 temporary roadside shelters, without specifying where they intended to install them".

As I say, I doubt it would happen even IF Putin wanted to do it. He's got enough problem so where's the upside for him?

I'm just saying that Medvedev is usually just a sock-puppet for a message Putin wants to send.

More correctly, Medvedev is the device Putin uses to send trial balloons. Medvedev doesn't transmit information for Putin but Putin does measure reactions (if any) to what Medvedev says.
