Okay, tonight was the last straw for me. I can't keep hearing the news any more and not know what everyone else thinks. So we're going to make it official, and I'm gonna update it when people lose. Price is Right rules: closest person wins, once you're over, you're out. The poll will only offer five options, so to break ties, after you've voted you can post below an exact, precise date to win. If you don't post a date below, and someone else in your group does, you lose. Winner gets to be moderator of World Rivalries for an entire...day? And has bragging rights here, of course. The poll question: On what day (of which month of which year) does the U.S. House of Representatives vote - on the floor - on articles of impeachment for U.S. President Donald Trump? Happy hunting.
Chose 2019. But I hope it happens when he's suckin face with Putey watching the 1st WC match in 2018.
I believe he will finish out his first term, and will be successfully primaried by another GOP candidate.
The Russian Federal Assembly will never impeach Donald Trump. As for Congress, I say October 14, 2027.
None of the above. He's going to resign because he'd rather be golfing and grabbing pu#%%Is between rounds than trying to be an actual leader who can bring opposing factions and clashing personalities together to get shit done. Date of resignation? June 21.
Trump :: The Presidency I voted for no impeachment because Brummie made such a compelling case for it after the election. OTH, when the House flips after the 2018 Midterms, it will either happen or not. I actually think the most likely outcome is a Trump resignation. He'll just get tired of all of this and go home to FLA.
He has to be miserable. A CEO gets what he wants and shows up to bask in employee love. Almost 2/3 of Americans can't stomach this asswipe. He's never going to recover from this Russia mess.
I'd venture to say that Trump will become so toxic that, in an attempt to save their seats in November 2018, the House goes through the impeachment motions in the months prior to the election.
[mutter] That would be a great way to celebrate my birthday. If I'm still around I'll have an extra helping of Cream O' Wheat at the Home! [mutter]
I put the odds of his being impeached and convicted (people always forget that second) on any date as being the least likely. If the posse starts getting a little too close, he'll resign.
I'm not interested in the conviction. Johnson and Clinton both got impeached and survived. It's unlikely he would ever stick around for a conviction, but he might see if he could survive the House vote.
