Just wanted to voice my opinion on the cuteness of a certain Freedom player named Sarah Kate Noftsinger. I don't think I'm a weirdo or a crazy person (maybe I am), but I was looking through the Freedom photos on their website and everytime a picture came up with Sarah Kate Noftsinger in it I thought "Wow, what a cute person that Sarah Kate Noftsinger is..." <---- She's no Ann Cook though! All hail Ann Cook!!!! Hey anticheese were you at the Cyberrays/Quakes doubleheader several weeks ago? I was there and sat near the south endzone. Late in the second half her and several other Freedom benchers were warming up behind the goal. I thought Noftsinger was cute from her pics but in person she is hella cute. I don't mean to sound like a pathetic stalker but SK8 has mentioned several times in her journal and some Q&A thingy on the Freedom site that she is single and hating it. What I don't get is why she is single. She is obvioulsy very attractive. She seems like a cool person. She lives in a city that has been ranked as one of the best (I think according to either Forbes or Fortune...and I've seen other similar lists) cities for singles. She is on a pro sports team. You'd think she would at least be able to have her pick of guys she could date. I just don't understand it.
The guys at Wake Forest obviously have awful taste. No, I don't understand it, either, and if I were 20 years younger, I'd be more than willing to do something about it. Maybe even 10 years younger.... H*ll, if I weren't married already....
I agree completely. It's one thing if she's single and is looking to stay single for awhile, I can understand that. However, if she really is single and hating it...that shocks me. I definitely think she'd be able to have her pick of guys. And no I wasn't able to make the Cyberrays/Quakes doubleheader a couple weeks ago, but, damn, I really wish I went now and sat in that south endzone. Ann Cook is a good looking girl and a nice girl too. I got the chance to meet her a few times and she seems like a really nice person.
Skate was stretching and warming up right in front of us in the second half. My wife punched me because she knew exactly what I was thinking.
Of interest, for someone who has less than 300 minutes played in her career, our photo site gets as many hits from people searching for Sarah Kate Noftsinger than for any player other than Mia Hamm and Landon Donovan. Think about that. Think of all of the players in MLS, WUSA, and the US national teams. So we usually oblige and snap a couple Sarah Kate photos whenever we catch a Freedom game. Ironically, we didn't get any photos of her Saturday - as I had to head to the Press Box around the 70th minute - when she actually got subbed into a game. Oh well. As a sports photographer, I won't discuss her "cuteness", but I will say that I do like the fact that she has a "normal" voice, and not one of those cute high-pitched ones that some women have or affect.
Argh! I was wondering why I couldn't find any of her. Thanks for all the great pics of Bre though! Skate is definitely one of the top 5 most adorable players in the WUSA. I find it hard to believe she can't find a guy but if it's true there must be a lot of shmucks living in the D.C. area! (Present company excluded of course!)
You don't track back to the IP address searching for those pictures, do you?? Not that I would have anything to hide or be afraid of there, just asking!!! Also, I guess it would be too obvious to just take pictures of her warming up!!!

Sarah Kate (and Casey Zimny) came down to tent before the game yesterday and I got a picture with her.
