Never heard of Giada. I just did a Yahoo! image search for "Giada" and got a bunch of pornographic pics. Not that I'm complaining.
Two things: 1. I like her cookbooks. 2. Those of you nit-picking her personal appearance ... it's blatantly obvious that you, well, you have your imagination and little else, if you know what I mean.

And dig that resume! Yeah, Rachel is perky, the kinda girl you may have a date or two with but she stops being nearly as good looking when you realize how vacuous she is. Giada is the woman who can discuss Mozart and the Husker Du, change the oil, cook your dinner and clean your clock, all in the same day.
I don't know about this Giada De Laurentiis ... she certainly ain't no Nigella Lawson, who completely eclipses Rachel Ray in every aspect, except annoyance, where Rachel pretty much takes (and makes) the cake.
I watch "Everyday Italian" if it's on and it's great to see that most of the times, her boobs are nice and perky and she's showing off the cleavage!!!
OK......An update: Recently (actually, it's been several weeks now), I was forced to watch 'Entertainment Tonight'. But this night there was a segment on our gal, Rachael. Well, she's married now. They showed bits of the wedding (I hate double funerals -hahaha); and she was just as perky and annoying as ever. We can only assume the groom was there, because it was ALL about Rachael..... ......but the real news is this.....................Apparently, she is going to have her own talk show...............yes. You read that right - Rachael Ray is going to host a talk show. And if I recall correctly (and there is no guarantee of that) we have Oprah to thank for this..............
This could very well be the first time in the history of televison that a talk show is broadcast with no guests. Just Rachel non-stop babbling for an hour.

At least she won't be able to drink during this one. That show where she interviewed celebrities at restaurants was definietly worse when she'd have a drink or two during the interview.
I AGREE WITH YOU ON THIS ONE. WHY DOESN'T SHE JUST SAY EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL INSTEAD OF BOTH? EVERYTHING IS DELISH OR YUMMY. THE WAY SHE TALKS DRIVES ME CRAZY. DOES ANYONE TALK LIKE THAT? NO ONE I KNOW. SHE HAS SOME GOOD RECIPES BUT IF I NEEDED ONE I WOULD GO TO THE WEBSITE BECAUSE I CANNOT STAND TO SIT AND LISTEN TO HER TALK. I GUESS IF I HAD TV TIME LIKE SHE DID, THEN MABE I COULD COOK A MEAL IS LESS THAN THIRTY MINUTES. Hey everyone! I found out about you guys over at Rachael Ray Sux Community. I wanted to chime in that all of you haters are spot on about this woman. I use to watch her religiously at 6:30 pm every evening about 2 years ago - when she was sane and calm. Now she is just freaking annoying as hell. Glad I found some more fellow haters! One thing I cannot stand about her is how she calls sandwiches "sammies". It's like shes a kindergartener! ugh!
I don't know if this has been said before, but now I can't stand Rachael McAdams (whatever her name is from Redeye and Wedding Crashers) because she reminds me of Rachael Ray.

So I just went over to TWOP and was stunned to see that Sandra Lee has not only her own thread, but her own subforum. EW! The threads over there are ridiculously long. Good thing I'm unemployed.
Barbara - I don't think you understand. TWOP is a snark board. The reason Snadra Lee has her own subforum is so people can snark on her. The majority of us think she is a fool and only watch her show for entertainment purposes. Come on over and join in the snark! We'd be glad to have you!

Funny -- my wife and I were just talking about Rachael Ray today. My little kid already likes her. He sees the ads during The Simpsons. She's great on 30-Minute Meals. Not so much on her travel shows. And she looks fabulous.
There are so many things that annoy me about Rachael Ray, but one thing I wanted to point out that I haven't seen to this point is that annoying tweedling guitar sound that plays on the segments right before the commercials.... And as an outlet of my disgust, me and my girlfriend have also drawn a picture of Rachael Ray naked with Yum-o tattooed across her stomach that is held by a magnet on our fridge.
