HT Crimestoppers Alert - Arizona Bulls in V.148, Dynamo Salem's Lot

If you have some free time on your hands, check out what kind of a start the Arizona Bulls are on in Dynamo Salem's series, V.148. He got his team 4 weeks ago and check out his transfer history:

    Total Purchases: 508 118 US$
    Total Sales: 1 157 000 US$
    Difference: 648 882 US$
    Number of transfers: 27
    Average (bought): 26 743 US$
    Average (sold): 144 625 US$
    Average (bought + sold): 24 033 US$

    Especially suspicious are these transfers:
    11/9/2004 Sold Dudley Delgado to Montero Dragons 102 000 US$ 210 TSI
    11/8/2004 Sold Ward Alonzo to Santori Eagles 300 000 US$ 390 TSI
    10/28/2004 Sold Clinton Logsdon to FC Ryoji 182 000 US$ 190 TSI

I just noticed this guy by checking out some of the BS user's series, and it's amazing what kind of a start he's off to. Is my protective side being a little paranoid here?

He's either cheated with a few transfers or gotten extremely lucky with "Fools and their money". One other theory is that he is an experienced player who got a new team that was stocked with sellable players, and has made all the right moves. For example, he already has a solid trainer already after 4 weeks!

Just checked it out. I'm guessing he is a former player. He looks to be skill trading and doing very well at it, i might add.

After looking at it, I would pretty much agree with this statement on the Bulls.

Is skill trading when you anticipate a player is close to popping, buy him, train him, and sell him?

I'm not quite sure about this. Maybe just glancing at the transfer totals, it may seem that way. However, if you look at individual players only a couple were actually bought then sold for profit. And those couple don't have higher TSIs when they were sold. Most of the players he sells were already on his team.

The three players I mentioned above have very low TSI yet were sold for very high amounts. I guess he's not in my series, but I would be even more aggressive about this if he was.

I just glanced at it. When I get home tonight, I"ll see if there is something I'm missing. It could very well be there is something underhanded going on. But w/o the actual stats it could be a little harder. But I can look to see who he sold them too. :)

Strange... Messons got his team the 20th of october and the 21st he bought an expensive player from Arizona. Then he bought another one this month for about 50,000. Hmm.. Montero dragons from Uruguay bought from Arizona, speaks Polski and so does Messons.
Santori Eagles Italians speaking English, is it coincidence, plus all the teams were acquired from october to november.
Lastly, Sao Paolo from Brazil Speaks Polski and Has bought players from all the three teams mentioned above!!!!
    Is this coincidence or what?????

This guy should be reported and you know what? Im gonna dedicate myself to some investigation of my fellow BS friends' series (not that I have any) Im lonely.
So what do you guys think about this guy?
I think its crap and all teams should be revised by the HT team.

Should I send him a message like:
"I Know What You Did Last October"
    Or
"I'm on to you", we should scare him not that he will care though.

You rock Kid101! We need to expose these bastards. Helgallen, can you alert your GM buddy? This is a huge consipracy!

We've found cheaters before, but it feels good to catch someone in a fellow BS member's series.

I would just report it on the Cheater form on the GM page. I'd tell George, but he'd just tell me to use that anyway. :)

There are 8 interlinked teams that I found. Many have stopped logging in after the massive TL activity of their first two weeks. I'm sure we'll find the teams locked once the GM's dig their teeth into it. Looking at it, if they are the same person using a proxy server of some sort, I'd say the perpetrator is the Polish team. It is the oldest.

Kuhnscoot wasn't clear. Stogey sent ht-mail to a team he was going to report. Telling George is probably a good thing, but next time, send it to global or usa @Hattrick.org

Columbus North End might also have or had a cheater.
Black Lightning FC sold a 30 yo for 300,000 and another player to Thawkers. It was a while back though in August and it hasnt happened again. Not much of a big deal but they do share the same IP Address and from what I know they cant sell or buy players unless permitted by a GM.
So I dont know about this guy..

Make sure you report anything questionable. The GMs can sort it out. I think they'd rather we report an innocent transaction then possibly not report a cheater.

Found another possible in Panama. Three teams.
