To anyone who has the HBO Max subscription: can you watch replays of the USMNT match? The Japan friendly is not on OTA and I saw that Amazon has a free HBO Max trial. I was going to do that, but I can’t watch the match live. Anyone with experience with the app—especially through Amazon?

Netflix to buy HBO Max (actually the entirety of Warner Brothers) for $87.7 billion. https://www.nbcnews.com/business/media/netflix-to-buy-warner-bros-rcna247510
The "entirety" doesn't seem to include TNT, TBS, etc. as those are apparently going to be part of the Discovery half of things after the split.
Why not make things more messy, right? At the minimum, here's what I'd expect: 1) The end of the free ride for some AT&T customers who are receiving complimentary HBO Max because... 2) HBO Max gets rolled into Netflix. 3) US Soccer games either on Netflix or a different streaming app that will consist of TNT/TBS/TruTV content.
The sports part is going to be the most interesting. Where do the streaming rights go for games that are currently aired on TBS/TNT/TruTV? How are those contracts worded and how do they get sorted out? Why did Netflix take just HBO/HBO Max? Are they really just interested in HBO's studios for production along with the back catalog of TV content?
I'm just here for the people who are already calling it a monopoly. Yeah, I think you got it right. I think it's just about the content on HBO Max. This might kill off the rest of the HBO/Cinemax linear channels (and the boomers will be upset).
