I finally picked up an iPod, and it is the greatest invention since the computer itself. I just flew from Boston to Cali last week, and couldn't believe I could essentially take my entire CD collection with me. It's a must buy for music lovers. My question though, for anyone who could possibly help: do I have to sync up every time, or is there a way to just transfer new songs on to the iPod?
Yep. You can turn off auto-synching and manually drag your mp3s onto the iPod icon. And I'm sure there's an easier way.
Re: Re: The Greatness of the iPod...and a question Actually if you use iTunes you just plug in your iPod (turn off auto syncing first) and you'll see a little iPod "playlist" to the left (where you keep your playlists). Just drag the song from your iTunes list the the iPod "playlist" and that's it.
