Carr is higher than Finnan? Might just be my personal bias showing through. I hate Neville, but I can't really argue against his position in this list.
I'm going to do left backs next. Central defenders will be split into stoppers and centre-halves. Although some of these will be very close calls. I think he was quite unlucky with the number of other good players there. Madeley, Wright, Newton, Lawler and also Colin Todd (who mainly played at centre-back at club level) were all competing for that spot. Madeley was capable of playing basically every position on the pitch. Sadly that can count against him in things like this. No, I'm only counting them once. I've tried to determine either their best position or the one in which they most commonly played.
Some sites don't like people externally linking to their pictures for bandwidth and copyright reasons. No doubt BS has been blocked for accessing the missing ones. It's best to save the picture and upload it to a image hosting site yourself. There are countless kicking about, like http://imageshack.us.

To my knowledge the only left back to have inspired a hit record and a popular catchphrase. Also a yid legend and class player.
Move Cole down a few places, too high imo. Glad to see Bill McCracken's contribution to the game was remembered
That shit happened to me, but it hit me really hard as the main sources for my pics decided to block BigSoccer when I had already posted like half of the countdown and not being able to edit my own posts half of my countdown looked very bleak without pictures (a nice mod helped me out a couple of weeks later but it was all hard work again).
I thought Mick Mills was basically a right-back? At least he played that position in the 82 World Cup, with Phil Neal on the bench.
