Matthias looks pretty much unchanged from back when they were popular, but the others look TERRIBLE.

Man, Pink Floyd really are looking kinda knackered, aren't they?

Yeah, except now he, too, has to cover up his bald spot!
I dunno, I think Rudi's new look is much better than the handlebar mustache and Sonic-the-Hedgehog-gone-terribly-wrong coiffe:

I said "greatest" band ever, not "most sleep-inducing" band ever.

I wonder if this thread was started as a response to my Pearl Jam looks totally different now than they did 10 years ago post. I guess it was to show that the Scorpions look more like they did 20 years ago now than Pearl Jam does now than 10 years ago. Also I think PJ's music is a lot better. I'm not much of a pop metal fan I like nu metal, grunge, regular metal better because its more angry and somber and I'm a sick puppy. When I was a youngster before I became angry, depressed, bitter, cynical, etc. I was into pop metal. As far as Pink Floyd yeah I think they are boring I don't like '70's stuff anyway.

No, I never saw your thread since I'm not interested in Pearl Jam. This thread is to properly honor the world's best band and overall greatest bunch of guys.

Not really no. Believe it not, though, the most recent Manowar album went gold the other day.

That stage move John Bon Jovi always does with his hand is real annoying.

You kids must be too young to remember the BEATLES!

Well, the Beatles never really had the dual axe attack down quite as well as the Scorps.

I know which one you’re talking about, and you’re right on target: at the risk of sounding un-PC, that stage move is really gay.

Speaking of Bon Jovi (or BJ, for short):

I saw a clip of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog interviewing him:

Triumph: "So I hear you're in a vampire movie"

    BJ: " Yeah "

Triumph: "Ohhhhh, that's so nice they found a part for you that actually requires you to suck."

Considering your location is listed as New Jersey, Bon Jovi should be a -good- thing. :D

The greatest German group ever was a little trio known as TRIUMVIRATE!

Hmmmm........ I find that highly dubious. Are you sure your sources are accurate?

you're both wrong - the greatest German band ever was Schicke, Fuhrs and Frohling

    The greatest French band was........................?

that one may take some searching. just to find a good one.

Okay, you’re entitled to your misinformed opinions – as long as no one says "Pur."

Well no, I haven't (must have been before my time), but my point was that they can't possibly be the best German group of all time because they'd have to get in line behind:

    1) The Scorpions (also the best band in the world, for those keeping score at home)
    2) Helloween
    3) Accept (of "Balls to the Wall" fame)

... and a host of others!

If this is the greatest band ever, it's a sad commentary on bands...
