Anyone catch this Monday night? Two episodes, and the third is airing on Thursday at the normal time slot. Enjoyed it and looking forward to watching it. I must like everything Michael Schur does.
We've completely enjoyed it. Kristin Bell and William Jackson Harper are well matched as eternal soulmates who may not be eternal soulmates, and Ted Danson is just right as the designer/overseer of the . . . neighborhood. Impressive diversity in the cast, too. I was certain they would not leave Jianyu as a mute Buddhist monk but did not expect his first speaking part to end with "I'm freaking out homie!" I look forward to seeing how it plays out.
Was able to finally watch episode 4 last night and really enjoyed it. This is a very funny show people.
Finally caught last week's episode, loved Jianyu's story and how it was a fitting example of Utilitarianism. And this exchange was great: I am not going to have sex with someone to get them to stop talking to me. Really? You and I are very different.
Got to watch an episode live! I really think Tahani and Chidi are actual soul mates, Michael is just terrible at his job. Also loved the exchange about fro-yo There’s something so human about taking something great (ice cream) and ruining it a little so you can have more of it.
Last night's episode was great, the whole thing about people liking the Bachelor/Bachelorette/Bachelor in Paradise ending up in the Bad Place cracked me up.
And finally a multi-part question. Did you ever appear on the American television program The Bachelor or its companion shows The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise or post on any social media site that you were emotionally invested in any of the relationships the contestants were pursuing?
The Good Place was back this week! Great episode, Jason marrying Janet was very funny, as was everything involving Chidi
It re-started well. I was afraid they had moved too far too fast with the reveal of everything in the midseason finale, but the first episode back was pretty good. I was glad they didn't play out the Chidi-as-Eleanor's soul mate angle since that did not seem right to me.
That was a clever and unexpected twist, though it was certainly in keeping with the rest of the show. We're also hopeful of renewal, though you could count that as a fair enough series ender.
Bump. We loved the way the new season started. Great story lines, and the way they highlighted the background characters was clever too.
Life got in the way during season 3 so we are going through that on Netflix and have Season 4 recorded on the DVR.
