    Thanks for the clips.

I was at the game and even though I just watched the clips, I can't figure out how both shots ended up in the net.

How did Galvan look? From the clips it looks like he was getting hit hard by the defense.

Not really that hard. I think he's a bit of a diver, but at least he wasn't bitching. I can accept diving, as long as the player doesn't start whining about not getting a call for his performance. I look forward to seeing him play more.

Not much exciting to watch in this game. Nothing but garbage goals for either side. But give credit to Metro, Bradley at least knows how to win ugly. Jeffries only knows how to play ugly.

While the goals were scrappy, the flow of the game was quite good -- frankly for both sides. The MEtros didn't win ugly at all. You are not watching the game.

Galvan on the physicality of play from MLSNET.com:
"I thought it was going to be rough, and I expected it. I felt okay with the team tonight, and the more I practice and play with the team, the better I will get."

The flow of play was good for a game broken up by 5 yellow cards in the first 50 minutes. Both teams played a decent possession game but had trouble making the last pass which is what you would expect against good defenses.

I thought Jolley's goal was the best, past two defenders and a screened keeper.

My only question is if Guevara gets an assist for bouncing a shot off the keeper last week and Guevara and Lisi both get assists for moving the ball a total of maybe a foot on an indirect free kick why didn't Mathis get an assist for bouncing the ball off of Morrow's head to Jolley?

    Midwest, the real one.
In regards to the flow of play, the Metros have quickly become a favorite of mine in terms of playing attractive soccer. So much skill right up the middle with Pope, Clark, Guevara, Mathis. These are the decisions one has to make with the overlapping on the SO Package, and I find myself drawn to the metros more and more.

Galvan looks like a tough , strong player but is on the ground alot after what looks like minimal contact so i too would say he is a diver. I expected him to get a yelow card in the game for his flopping act. Definitely looks talented though and will be a productive Metrostar when Clint and the boys go to the National team. Just hope the opposition does not start calling him "Monica" as he's always going down.

Astute and a well made point. Strength up the middle.
