http://theage.com.au/oddspot/index.html Tuesday August 23, 2005 Manchester United's new US owners, Bryan, Avram and Joel Glazer, were so puzzled by the rules of the game and the chants of the fans that they have hired translators and advisers to sit next to them at matches.
Why yes...every Man U fan should hate their freedom to turn the Red Devils into the next Leeds Utd. Remember...miss the group stage of the Champions League just once, and the dominoes start to fall.... And trust me, even though I'm a City fan, it's not a thing to rejoice in.
Sorry, Lilywhite...I didn't realize you were talking in the George "Dumbya" "Freedom's on the March" context.
Hehe. Yeah, I shouldn't really giggle about though. Pretty shitty situation all round. Well done on being a big person and having some compassion towards the Man U fans. I'd effing love it to happen to Assnal.
Well, to be fair, who understands Mancunian anyway?! I know I had major trouble understanding what people were saying the last time I was in Manchester. Gotta give the Glazers credit for trying to understand the fans culture. They really do want to fit in. Give them time to learn.
Erm... you do realise that if we were still a PLC we probably would have signed a CM or CB or sufficient quality a few weeks ago? I think you could pencil that down to affecting our play... Of course there are still a few days left, so let's keep them fingy's cwossed.
