Galatasaray has announced as it is ''The First Football Team Nikon Sponsored In Turkey'' by the sponsorship agreement with Nikon which is one of the best global digital cameras brand.

Galatasaray Sportif A.S. has signed the sponsorship agreement with Nikon, a leading global manufacturer in digital cameras, on the 12th of April, 2012 at Ali Sami Yen Spor Kompleksi Turk Telekom Arena by participation of Ali Durust,The Deputy President of Galatasaray Sports Club, Fatih Terim, The Head Coach of Galatasaray Professional Football Team and Takashi Yoshida, The Nikon Middle East FZE Managing Director.

In support of this agreement, Nikon has become ''The Official Photo / Camera Sponsor of The Galatasaray Football Team'' from the play-off of the 2011/12 season.

This partnership between Galatasaray, the pioneer of many global innovationns, and Nikon, one of the most successful and well-known multinational brand, is also significant by being Nikon's first sponsorship of a football team.

Ali Durust, Deputy President of Galatasaray Sports Club, said; ''We are delighted to announce Nikon as a prominent global brand has become our sponsor. We are happy that Nikon has consolidated its international power with Galatasaray which has many unquastionable achievements in Turkey and Europe. This cooperation between Galatasaray and Nikon as the global brands which have history and tradition more than hundred years, excite us about important works and innovations we will implement together. We believe that association with Nikon will contribute to raise our brand reputation and recognition in Japan and other Asian countries.''

Commenting on the agreement, Nikon Middle East FZE Managing Director Takashi Yoshida emphasized the global importance of the sponsorship agreement and said: ''We are glad and honored to become an official sponsor of Galatasaray which is one of the most successfull and well-known football clubs not only in Turkey, but also among Europe and the Middle-East countries with its supporters, increasing day by day. I hope this relationship works long years for both side.
I also think Nikon made a smart move by chosen/sponsorship to the Turkey's best and biggest wellknown brand aka Galatasaray SK.

I wish things goes smoothly for both brand.

Today news says , Galatasaray plan to open a Football School/Academy in Japan.

And they mentioned that , Galatasaray will gonna make a tour/camp in Japan too.

And there is a plan for Official Galatasaray TV airing in Japan.

Another side note; Galatasaray highly interest on Japanaese players too. ie; Honda, Inui are the runners at the top of the list for upcoming season .

Galatasaray looks like very serious about Japan and Japanaese football world.

I hope all these plans starts and works smoothly.

In the media press conferance, Club vice president Ali Durust and club techinal director Fatih Terim made a comment/speech alongside Nikon Takashi Yoshida.

It seems Galatasaray started a long term relationship and plan with Nikon for Japan and Turkey. So, this is the good and first big step from Galatasaray for Japanese_Galatasaray_fans at Japan.

I hope more Japanese football fans become interest to the Galatasaray from now on.
