    Well.
If I am being honest it died a very slow death. At least it lasted a lot longer than I expected.
Back in 2012 I thought they would pull the plug.

Gotta give them credit for surviving this long at least.

I hope the Portuguese league gets picked up quick to finish out the season.

If not, then hopefully ESPN+ or whatever it's called now will pick it up.

In other words, hopefully these leagues get picked up by something most people already have.

Horrible news ...I loved that GolTV kept all the graphics and stuff from the mid 2000s the entire time. A Todo Gol in early/mid 2000s was such a formative show for me and exposed me to so much south American/central American soccer that wasn't on my radar at the time at all. I know that Ray and Phil were polarizing to some (for the record I really enjoyed both of them calling La Liga and Serie A games), but I will miss their commitment to fully commiting to showing some extremely niche games and leagues.

Really hope fanatiz keeps showing Uruguayan league in some way....such a fun league to follow.

I wonder if Primera Liga will end up on Bein now that they picked up Portuguese Cup.....I really hope it doesn't end up on DAZN....and being honest they are probably streamer/channel that is most in need of a new league to pick up.

I’ve been a fan since the day the network started. I remember they had an infomercial style commercial before the network even started to get fans into the network. Their Serie A coverage was great.

It's the same with U-Verse, although there's two things to note here:
    1) Guide data typically comes from third parties.
    2) I don't have a package with GolTV, so I can't verify if it's still active.

I still see the GolTV programming information on my U-Verse guide, but as I don't subscribe to that tier, that's all I see.

The Uruguay football league's international TV rights are now held by a partnership between Antel, Click Team and Team Sports Media. So there's no information on whether they will go DTC or re-sell to distributors.

This was still the case earlier today. Is it true for other providers?

Sounds like rest of this season will be blacked out in the US while they figure how to distribute next season.

Can’t believe no one can pick up Portuguese league on the cheap just to finish the season.

I imagine someone will. This weekend is the Taca on Bein. If they have their shit together (and they usually don’t) they would announce it during that if they got the rights.

Looks like Portuguese Primera landed on the Fubo Sports channels, which seems like you need to subscribe to a Fubo base package to be able to get....and the Uruguayan Primera ended up on Antel TV international....which is $10 a month. Def missing GolTV!!

Can't disagree with you. Having a league tied up to 1 service is bad

What is the cheapest package to get Portuguese on fubo? How many games a weekend is it worth it?

Fubo Latino pack will give you that. Only 3 games a week at most. Nothing compared to 5 games a week that GOLTV had

It looks like if you have a free account on Fubo you can watch the Primera Liga - it let me set recordings for all matches they're showing this weekend and tomorrow's Sporting-Santa Clara matchup has a tile under "free sports".

Watching it now, the announcer is the same one who was doing the games on GOL TV, not sure of his name but he loves to ramble on about tangential stuff. He can be funny at times, just said "I think I'm going to shut up for 30 seconds" although he started talking after about 15.
