What's wrong with smoking from a hookah? Hookah's are perfectly legal. It's not like he got caught soliciting a hookah.
Or is failing to live the ultimate failure... one that we all strive to avoid every single day? < strokes chin > (just trying to make a contribution that lives up to the standards of both Freddy's career and this thread)
Blue Wire Media wants to build out a “serious journalism channel” with narrative podcasts by journalists, starting with a six-part Freddy Adu series by Grant Wahl.https://t.co/VqxWGXJRvS— Front Office Sports (@FOS) July 30, 2020 Not quite the “30 for 30” some people want, but... it’s happening dot gif
Oh man, I would love that 30 for 30. Looking for interviews with Peter Nowak (DC United, Philly Union and 2008 Olympics squad), John Ellinger (RSL days), John Hackworth (Phily Union), Arena and Bob Bradley (USMNT days), teammates and coaches from Benfica, Aris (Eddie Johnson), plus former USMNT teammates from Gold Cup 2011 (Donovan, Dempsey, Michael Bradley, Altidore); 2008 Summer Olympics (Feilhaber, Kljestan, McBride), and teammates from 2007 u-20 World Cup (Robbie Rogers, Dax McCarty), and coach (Thomas Rongen). Wow, that would be a great story. The last decent year he had was 2012 for Philly Union (20 starts and 5 goals), it was all downhill after that. Wonder what the tipping point was, and what would have happened if he had stayed in MLS.
“Serious journalism channel”. Grant Wahl and Freddy. Sure, that's a serious start for serious journalism.
The Las Vegas Lights are in action at Cashman Field for the first time since March against Reno 1868, and Freddy is in attendance (lower right)
Coaching gig? No way someone is taking a chance on him as a player. That’s lunacy. It couldn’t even be a marketing play. Nobody cares but us.
A used car dealership. In Toledo (Ohio, not Spain). Or maybe he got a marketing gig with Liberty Tax Service.
oh lord have mercy.... Missed this sport so much and just happy to have the opportunity to be playing again. One step at a time ⚽️💪🏾— @FreddyAdu (@FreddyAdu) October 14, 2020
geez.. Skipped a lot of steps in the past but now I get a chance to do it right. I’m excited and never been more ready! ⚽️— @FreddyAdu (@FreddyAdu) October 14, 2020
3rd tier sweden. Get the YA thread revving again! Freddy Adu has signed with Swedish side Osterlen FF. It marks Adu’s first return to action since playing for the Las Vegas Lights in 2018.Osterlen was recently promoted to Sweden’s Division 1, the third tier in Sweden.— Ives Galarcep (@SoccerByIves) October 14, 2020
