Maybe Celtic v Legia home second leg in Glasgow will be shown. I agree that its summer and there is nothing else to show, but you are assuming that there is some semblance of common sense in the way that some of these stations choose programming. Bein Sports Saturday schedule was updated and their RPL coverage consists of two 90 in 60 matches from the upcoming opening weekend, CSKA v Torpedo and Arsenal Tula v Zenit. Not looking like they are too concerned with filling summer programming void, sadly.
Not really getting that. Why not show the full 90. I would watch the full 90. 90 in 60 - no way. It would fill up an hour of the day. What else are they showing?
I am with you. ESPN FC might be better than Fox Soccer Report. But not Sky Sports. Really miss the deadline day coverage as well.
The old Fox Soccer Channel has a more popular option for August 31... http://variety.com/2014/tv/news/fxx...-simpsons-world-online-experience-1201265856/
That schedule still looks very tentative. It says "90 in 60" meanwhile they still have a 2 1/2 hour timeslot allocated for it. 4:55p CSKA v Topedo 5:55p Futbol 6:30p Arsenal v Zenit 9:00p Express Xtra Plus they have LIVE champions league at 08:00 so its pretty much all nonsense.
I've been looking at Wikipedia to see the the results of prelim CL matches and they've all been like 5-0 blowouts not one tie decided by away goals or ET. On the contary a lot of EL ties have been decided by PK's but there is a lot more qualifying matches in EL. At least in the next few weeks there will be the Community Shield and Super Cup Matches both broadcasted on FS1 with the regular cast of people
The 20 CL qualifying round two leg series that are over had: 2 decided by away goals 2 decided by 1 goal 2 decided by 2 goals 4 decided by 3 goals 3 decided by 4 goals 5 decided by 5 goals 1 decided by 7 goals 1 decided by 8 goals That's an average of exactly 3.5 goals if you count away goals as having a margin of 0. Therefore I agree with you.
It actually seems they miswrote UEFA Champions league on their online listings for Saturday at 8am. It's actually the French Super Cup between PSG and Guingamp that they are showing live, although on their listings on their IPAD app they have it down as the UEFA Super Cup.
Just a reminder to you all that tomorrow is the FA Community Shield on Fox Sports One. According to my guide on Comcast here's how it breaks down 9 AM EDT FA Community Shield Preview Show 9:30 AM: Match Day (the info to this show is very interesting It says Join Rob Stone, Warren Barton, Eric Wynalda, and Brain McBride as they breakdown this weekends BPL action. Does this mean they'll have a regular show? 10 AM: FA Community Shield: Arsenal vs Manchester City Post all you compliments and complaints here!
Just watching man city-arsenal game on fsc. What is wrong with this hd feed? Not like what I'm used to for an hd signal.
Well, there you go! I'm sure if you let them know that you would watch the full 90, they'd change their minds!
Yeh honestly I do too. Wish NBC sports would do a transfer deadline day special. Yes they would have to pre-empt there 30 minute NRA funded infomercials but this is not a daily thing it's a one off. So I don't think it would be that big of a deal. It would essentially an add for the premier league. And it's the closest thing the league has to "Draft" kind of situation.
UEFA Super Cup: Fox used the world announcer feed and binned the ticker during the match and for the entirety of it. More of that, please!
They have a transfer deadline day special. An hour news program right at the deadline. If you want all day coverage -- http://www.skysports.com/radio (or a an easily obtainable video stream) http://talksport.com/radioplayer/live/ http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/bbc_radio_five_live (though even the BBC only covers this exclusively for a few hours).
Fox Sports 2 can't show it because they are showing what? Ultimate Fighting! Street League Skateboarding? Red Bull Crushed Ice? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Some people know soccer season is here when the friendlies start, some when the super cups. This right here is how I know. Fsc lost lots of money doing it that way. Fs2 was brought into existence to get more viewers. They think they maxed out the soccer audience so they diversified. By the way you can make a good argument sky was a one hour show I watched it start to two hours in and it was just the same shots all the time.
Why don't you take it up with FOX then? Your voice will carry a lot of weight as one of FS2's handful of viewers. The rest of us have moved on.
