In item 11 of his First XI, Jeff writes "Expect a series winner by DeRosario" in respect to the first round series between LA and SJ.

Then in item 1, his "What the heck, lead-pipe locks for the rest of the way" prediction calls for "Los Angeles over San Jose, 3-2 on aggregate."

OK. Now I know where he stands :)

It looks like he amended his first prediction to jibe with his second one. It now says "Ruiz" instead of "DeRosario."

He's been picking for LA all year. At one point he said they would go undefeated at home.

    I think he's stuck.

    KC
And I think while LD and Razov are definitely in the hunt for the MVP Preki shouldn't be overlooked. Regardless of age he's withing striking distance of 40 points. There has been at least one person with 40 points every season of MLS. Preki needs only an assist, while Ruiz and Razov need much more.

Last time Preki lead the league in scoring he had 41 points and a league MVP. 1997, although KC did win the West that year.

Preki can't be forgotten, but I think it matters how they do in the playoffs. That makes me ask, when does the voting actually happen?

i find it hard to believe that the media would select anyone other than donovan... his states are close and his name carries more than razov or preki... although preki's name has more meaning than razov

personally, i think it's preki... but i say that donovan wins it...
