Not to mention all of the EPL (which sucks, of course) players.
Oh, wait, Scotland has 10 EPL players (now 9 with Sheffield's relegation).

Aye, but the Scot side is far from EPL exclusive. EPL is only a plurality on the side. Further, the Tartan spies are really just plants into the EPL to cause chaos when independence finally comes.

    EPL - 10
    SPL - 8
    English Championship - 4
Belgium - 1 (on loan from SPL)

They have been poor tonight. Probably even worse than Spain against Sweden (and that is saying something. 86% possession, over 900 passes completed, but five shots on goal).

Scotland has been poor, as well, but little is expected from them.
Edit: the announcers and Craig Burley in the studio talking about how "well" Scotland played..

Game over, and that just sucked.

I think there’s only one person (Trippier) playing outside of the EPL. When you grow up in one system, which doesn’t highlight creativity, it shows.

    France ties it up.

    1-1 final score

Is the French team the first billion dollar line up?

Despite that, the vaunted French attack has managed a single goal through two games.

Germany dominate the beginning of the game, with a goal scored and called back.

Ronaldo scores his first goal against Germany, totally against the run of play.

Havertz scores to tie it up (but looks like Herr Own Goal strikes again this time in favor of Germany).

    Edit: Germany scores again!

Herr Own Goal with the first half brace!

Half time with Germany up 2-1.

Germany dominating possession (over 65%), 5 shot on target.

    Now 3-1 Germany.

Edit: 60th minute it is 4-1 Germany, the route (again) against Portugal is on!

2014 World Cup, Germany won 4-0. This is more satisfying.

In a surprising move (but good for Germany) Bruno Fernandez (best player for Man U [sucky EPL] over the past 18 months) has been taken out of the game.

    4-2, game on!

Germany is one Herr Own Goal against France from being top of the group.
Hungary has played very well, except for the last 6 minutes against Portugal.

The third round in the "group of death" is going to be wild, just as it should be!
    France v. Portugal
    Germany v. Hungary

    France wins
    Germany wins
    Portugal goes home

    France-7
    Germany-6
    Portugal-3
    Hungary-1

    Or
Portugal and France draw and all three (Germany, France Portugal) go through.
Hungary wins and a draw between Portugal v. France? Germany goes home bottom of the group
France and Hungary win? Portugal (reigning champs) go home bottom of the group.

Now comes the most intriguing game of the weekend:

Poland desperately needs a win to keep their chances alive.
The problem is that they play Spain.
The good point is that Spain sucked out loud against Sweden. What an awful game, 900+ passes, 85% possession, 0 goals.
The bad point is that Poland were mediocre (I would say just above poor) against Slovakia. They just lacked spark.

However, I think Poland can pull out a 1-0 or 2-1 win.
Lewandowski has double (66) the number of goals than the entire rest of the Polish team combined (33)

    Line ups are out:

Poland with Swiderski and Zielinski up top with Lewandowski. We'll see if the play up top or tuck back
    Frankowski on the bench.
No Krychowiak, of course (out with the red card)

I think it was the red card that deflated Poland and ruined their game. Before that they were good. Not great, but they would have won.

    And group F is wild.

Without the red card, likely a draw.
Still not good enough against Slovakia, especially when you have the best striker in the world on your side.

I can see Frankowski coming on at the half if Poland keep playing like they are right now.
