Yes, the first 31 seconds of the second half were great. Poland was the better team at the beginning of each half It was a very weak red. Krychowiak needed to be careful, or Sousa should have pulled him at half time.
Spain has sucked out loud at home, fortunately. A few seconds of Spanish football and a whole lot of nothing. 85% possession in the game, but only 4 shots on goal. The Swedish goalkeeper, Olsen, has been amazing, especially late in the game. Strange team they have. No Real Madrid players. Only 3 Barcelona players More players from Manchester City than any Spanish team. Only 1 player with double digits in international goals scored (only three with 5+ goals). 16 players with less than 20 Caps. 2 players with more than 50 Caps. Hard to believe that Emil Forsberg is only 29. He has been around the Swedish team seemingly forever.
......he's not on the dollar menu so we probably won't spend for him. I thought our owner is more of a $5 biggie bag kind of wealthy?
and now the Hungarians net one in the 80th minute, but they're going to call it offside. Drat. Hate the Hungarian government's politics but I can't help but pull for the underdog.
Now comes the important game. Germany has a tough road to win the competition. Beat the French and the road becomes much easier.
This is the first time I have not felt confident watching Germany. There is just something missing from them. It seems the midfield is lacking quite a bit. Maybe it's the lack of Polish strikers for them. Maybe it is incessant droning of Taylor Twellman. He needs to learn to shut the hell up.
