    Looks like a penal to Bodo/Glimt on a shoulder charge that's sometimes called, and sometimes not. Era penal and Fet scores! Chelsea Dagger blares!

    Late in the first half Bodo/Glimt survives pressure and makes it 2-0 in stoppage time through Blomberg. Of course there's a VAR check for offside, but the goal is given. Chelsea Dagger blares!

    Arsenal fails to win at Bayer.

    Good results all around.
    As much as I despise PSG and Real Madrid, I despise Chelsea and, especially, Man City more.

    Indeed, it would have been the EPL (which sucks, don't you know) trifecta!

    In fact, that would have meant the ONLY team from the EPL (which sucks) that would not have lost would have been lowly Newcastle, that gave up the stupid late penalty to draw with Barcelona, as
    Liverpool
    Chelsea
    Man City
    Arsenal all lost.

    As it is, NONE won, so there is that.
    Although I fully expect Liverpool to destroy Galatasaray next week.

    I know I posted the debut of the '96 MLS jerseys (in another thread) but the ones Washington and Portland are wearing tonight for the NWSL opener are vomit inducing like those MLS ones. Just terrible.
