Two different squads then like people used to say Brazil could do. So Algeria is that deep too. Got it.
This is first Spanish league match I have watched in forever. Generally only see Barcelona or Real in Champions League action. These are the two biggest clubs in the history of the world?! Yuck. Some great players out there, but just not good. Exciting injury time in the first half, and looking stretches of boring football and flopping. One Real player (don't care to remember who) was in the box, lightly kicked a Barcelona player and went down holding his foot like he was the one kicked, but grabbed the wrong foot! Also, I should have turned it off when Lewandowski was subbed out in the 66th minute.
Madrid has not found a replacement for Modric. They were pushing him out of the way same as Barca is pushing Lewy out, even though they have more in the tank.

Senegal/Egypt was almost a bloodbath. Senegal won 1-0 but absolutely dominated everywhere. Possession was roughly 70/30 most of the game. During the second half:
Nigeria/Morocco. Morocco obviously motivated but Nigeria can score a lot of goals. Twenty minutes in but it should remain a fun one the entire time.
In Michael Carrick's first match as "interim" manager of Manchester United, Man U faced Man City in the Manchester Derby in the EPL (which sucks). Manchester United curb stomped Manchester City. The end was 2-0, but easily could have been 4-0 or more (1 goal called back, at least one more should have gone into the net). smashed Seeing a very sad panda Pep was worth sitting through the match. Okay, I didn't sit through the match, I DVR'd it and watch it on fast speed, skipping the boring bits. Now, I am watching sad panda Pep with his interview. Boring.
Liverpool continue to suck in the EPL (which sucks). Liverpool dominated against Burnley, but a penalty smacked off the cross bar and a goal called back for offsides (and, probably, a hand ball). 1-1 Also, my West Ham United actually won a match, beating a sorry ass Tottenham in the 93rd minute. Still in the relegation zone.
An amazing ( )match between Newcastle and bottom of the table Wolverhampton in the EPL (which sucks). Newcastle almost came somewhat close to attempting to try to score a goal. 0-0 Now Aston Villa has the chance to go second in the EPL (which sucks) if they manage to fail to lose to Everton. 0-0 halfway through the first half.
I love the Destination Calcio app for what it is, three free Serie B games a week, and I’m pretty sure they’ve shown Palermo more often than not the past couple of seasons, but the presentation doesn’t do the game any favors. I have no idea where the field mics are, but the crowd noise barely barely registers at all. I can see the supporters bouncing around, waving flags, and cheering, but the game sounds like it’s being played in front of like, three people. Additionally, they always have the most boring British announcers call the games. Even with my bias toward preferring the commentary in Italian aside, it’d be nice if the announcers called the game with a little more intensity.
From the BBC: What a finish, I've never seen anything like it. In added time we've witnessed: A Senegal goal disallowed Morocco winning a penalty The Senegal players leaving the pitch in protest The Senegal players returning to the pitch Brahim Diaz attempting a Panenka from the spot with the last kick of the game Edouard Mendy saving the penalty Into 30 minutes of extra time still scoreless.
