The 61st min 'double post' deny for Vancouver...was...the...'deciding moment'. And...Messi displays quality at 71 to help 'explain' je ne sais quoi
Palermo with a nice (but dangerous) 2-0 early lead against Empoli on the road in a HUGE game in Serie B.
It's not the EPL (which sucks of course). Nice thing about the WSL2 is all of the matches are available on YouTube in all available resolutions and quality. I don't even think the NWSL games that they stream on the NWSL+ website even stream at 60fps. And I do watch a ton of Women's leagues looking at the various talent and how various Americans are doing as well.
I've said it for awhile now but the English Championship is the one to watch this season. Probably the most competitive of all the English leagues top to bottom. As far as the top leagues from the big four, definitely Italy. As far as Europe as whole the Ekstraklasa is always a tight race until the last game of the season and has been for years.
Crap, I let my Paramount+ subscription expire. The only reason I used it was to watch Celtic and that hasn’t been much fun this season anyway.
Wish I had known it was on telemundo, but I got paramount+ for $.99 a month until February so for $2 I guess I can suffer through more games like the one I watched today. Not only did Celtic suck but I was reminded what a horrible app Paramount+ is for tablets. You can’t minimize the screen! You’re either watching it in app, watching it full screen, or not watching at all. Horrible UX. When I went to have the game go from in app to full screen, I was redirected to my browser to get an ad served to me first. As bad as people think Apple TV+ is for soccer, Paramount+ is worse.
They should have a couple tomorrow. They don’t show all of the games, they usually do three per week. When Palermo isn’t one of them I use the OneFootball app, which costs like $7 per match day (so you can watch all Serie B games) but has the benefit of Italian commentators. Destination Calcio has the most boring English announcers you could imagine but it’s free, so I’m always happy to see Palermo on it.
I have Union Berlin - Leipzig on the TV & Palermo- Sampdoria on the laptop. Just when I was about to lament the lack of goals after a half hour in each Le Douaron finishes for Palermo after shifty work in the box.
Serie A: Parma / Nazio. It's on over the air TV (CBS)?!? What a concept! Take note MLS (Insert Don Garber BS talk about we have 30 stadiums now duhhhhh)
