U17 World Cup in Doha. USA vs Burkina Fasso. Midfielder Cavan Sullivan entered match at min62 and scored min79 for 1-0 win. Cupps started and played entire match. Did not watch match but highlights seemed to favor opponent. No noticeable errors by Cupps.

 

I did watch and it was fairly even. I was working so not engrossed but I don’t remember either side dominating.

 

Basel up 2-1 in the Europa League. Shaqiri with two goals.

 

Basel won 3-1. Shaqiri with the assist on the third goal.

 

U17 -start of second half USA vs Tajikistan tied1-1. Cupps at CB.

 

Getting ready to watch Palermo invade Juve Stabia and hopefully come away with 3 points.

 

Final-USA wins 2-1. Cupps played entire match, looked good ( did not see very beginning when Tajik scored.)

I didn't watch, but Lugano went to Basel and won 1-0, their 5th win in their last 6. The win boosted them to 4th place after a horrible first two months. Cassano & Koutsias entered in the 75th minute.

NWSL playoffs on television from my hotel in the suburbs of Detroit.

Funny how having matches on "free" television has me watching something I would not have thought about just five minutes earlier.

 

Gotham leading in the 95th minute (8 minutes of stoppage time) and KC tie it up.

Weird, they play 30 minutes of extra time and do not go straight to penalties.

 

And, in the 120th minute, a free kick just inside the KC half. Gotham goalkeeper takes it and booms it into the area. A couple of short passes and Gotham nails it into the goal.
Great finish to the match, but heartbreak for the best team in the league

 

Interesting. You can play a two striker formation and both strikers can score.
