according to the one article I saw (which is world soccer talk, so take this with a bucket full of salt), Fubo.tv https://worldsoccertalk.com/watch-o...-stream-and-tv-for-uefa-world-cup-qualifiers/
So ESPN+ is saying 'technical difficulties', match is in the 9'. Looks like I'm watching it elsewhere (where it's working fine)
Near meaningless…highly likely Suarez and Bousquets don’t play another Leagues Cup game BREAKING: The Leagues Cup has handed out the following suspensions for the altercation after the final:- Luis Suarez: 6 games- Sergio Busquets: 2 games- Tomas Aviles: 3 games- Sounders coach Steven Lenhart: 5 gamesSuspensions only for Leagues Cuphttps://t.co/kiLTd49wD1— Tom Bogert (@tombogert) September 5, 2025 So…we wait to hear MLS has not yet announced potential additional suspensions from the melee for league play, but still may do so. https://t.co/f9cBRJP5gV— Tom Bogert (@tombogert) September 5, 2025
[Replay via YouTube] Women's Super League 2: Sheffield United / Sunderland. [Replay via YouTube] Liga F: Athletico Madrid / Real Madrid.
I didn't watch the game, but after an uneventful first half, substitute Leo Barroso scored Portugal's 3rd goal of a flood of second half goals to rout Azerbaijan 5-0 in UEFA U-21 qualifying. Soon, Women's Super League: Arsenal / London City Lionesses via ESPN+. Later, Fraeun Bundesliga: Bayern Munich / Bayer Leverkusen via YouTube (DAZN Women's Football Channel).
Good Lord the WSL master match feed is stuttering and freezing like crazy. That's usually a sign of the video encoder that's broadcasting (the computer itself) isn't powerful enough to handle the bit rate. Way to make a stream that used to be free on YouTube last season suck for those paying for it now. Had zero issues when they used YouTube BTW.
Chicago Fire legend midfielder and racist-adjacent husband Alexander Katai starting today for Serbia against Latvia in World Cup qualifier. He provided the give and go for the first goal of the match. An attack with Katai and Zinckernagel would be a delight to watch.
Now, it is England v. Andorra in a mismatch at Villa Park in Birmingham. Andorra (87k) has a population 1/20 of the population of... Birmingham (1.15 million in the city, 2.65 million in the metro). Good thing they are not playing at Wembley (which is hosting a Coldplay concert this weekend), as the crowd in the stadium (90k football capacity, 87k "UEFA" capacity) would exceed the entire population of Andorra! 4th v. 174th in the FIFA Rankings. Come on, Andorra! Sure, you will lose, but keep it under 5 and call it a good day. Knowing England, I imagine it will be a dull 2-0 win and the pundits will freak out.
1/4 of the match and Andorra keeping it goalless, or the England team, full of EPL (which sucks) players and Kane, is not that good. And, Andorra scores!!! Well, it is an own goal! 1-0 England I doubt it happens, but it would be hysterical if England "won" this match 1-0 on an Andorra own goal.
Halftime. Headline on the BBC Dominant England Leading Andorra Through Own Goal https://www.bbc.com/sport Umm, okay!
Fulltime New BBC Headline: England Maintain 100% Record with Uninspiring Win Over Andorra That's more like it.
I have to say every game I've watched in this league has been wide open and attack first. In other words: fun for a neutral. Now if I was a manager for one of these teams I'd be having a heart attack every other week. Edit: There are 10,000 viewers at the moment. It has to be bots or I'm underestimating the popularity of the league.
US v. Korea (South Korea, not Kim Jong Un's craphole). Good, zog the USMNT suck. They are just horrible. 4-5 years ago, I complained that the USMNT were kids. Now, they aren't kids, but still play like it. One of the least talented, least disciplined teams I have seen. 2-0 Korea at half time. If these losers are at 'great' teams in Europe, that says quite a bit about those teams. 2-0 Korea final. There is not a single player on the USMNT is worth anything.
Frankly, there are few players who would be worth starting for the Fire. Admittedly, I skipped through much of the second half, but nothing seemed worth watching.
In about half an hour... Women's Super League 2: Portsmouth / Durham via YouTube. I like the fact that basically every match for this league is available on YouTube.
