well funny, because I love both the DCFC Rams (since they used to play at a stadium called the Baseball Grounds) and also the Ipswich Town Tractor Boys (solely for the nickname)!!!

 

No I don't think they did that (which was why I clarified). But Peacock raised their prices (doubled for commercial included from $4.99 - $10.99 a month) and the only thing I had it for was EPL which I really wasn't watching week in and week out. It's a lot to pay in case I wanted to watch a weekend SUCKY EPL match which are often on later on regular rabbit ears TV for free.

Paramount is awful.
Peacock is annoying in that it is almost impossible to delete things or stop the "next episode" from starting automatically. It is frigging obnoxious.

 

That would be better than the Packers preseason pointy ball on ABC up by me right now.

 

Ownership aside, I love Paramount. Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, Serie A. It’s got a ton of content.

 

The Paramount panel commentators suck.
Only Thierry Henry speaks English. Jamie Carragher's scouse is almost undecipherable and who knows what language Micah Richards garbles.

The announcers for Serie A games sound like they’re broadcasting from a library and on a tablet there’s no way to minimize the window and watch while multitasking. One of the more frustrating apps I’ve ever dealt with. But they do have the old Beavis & Butt-Head episodes with the music videos so I can’t argue against the content being quality.

 

Coppa Italia Palermo away to Cremonese on Paramount+, which sucks a bag of flame-roasted EPLs.

 

I use an AppleTV and watch on a TV so don’t have that issue but yeah, the app sucks.

 

Is the game here? There are thunderstorms in the area so if it was lightning it makes sense but otherwise, yeah, weird.
