Washed up Lewandowski with a hat-trick, leading Europe with 12 goals in 10 games.

Good for him! Of course, the more goals he scores, the less likely he will be in Fire uniform soon ( if ever).

Yep, he overtook his Bayern replacement Kane, who has 10 goals so far this season, I think.

  10. Fire II beat top of the East Philly 2 & wunderkind Cavan Sullivan 2-1. The reward? A HOME PLAYOFF GAME. David Poreba wins the Golden Boot & should be MVP. Details to come.

  11. Upset watch and their league sucks.

  12. Double upset alert. Or VAR will take it away. And it does get taken off.

    BOO, an 87th minute equalizer.

BUT not so fast, a 94th minute winner? Wankers!

    All Glory To Vangelis Pavlidis!

    UEFA "Nation's League"
    Poland v. Portugal

It has been dire for Poland all afternoon.
    Just a terrible performance.

5 minutes after posting this, Poland has their best sequence of the match and Zielinski pulls one back.

12 minutes to go and game on!

...but Pan Own Goal shows up for the Poland and Portugal up 3-1.

  18. Forward Madison wins through a late PK. They have pretty much locked up 2nd in the table and have a shout at top of the table going into the last match of the regular season.

    I'm in as well.

I went and did a thing playing in a full field pick up game 8 days ago (Friday) and at 55 I didn't embarrass myself in a full field match (we won three games to 2 goals/winner stays/ 33+ guys showed) but I did pick up a knee knock poke tackling a big dude with tree trunk legs and I've realized that my hips are now so arthritic that I'm sitting on the couch 8 days later still feeling it and humming "Let an Old Racehorse Run" by Del McCoury right now. I think I'm built to be a spectator from here on out. I did NOT participate in said weekly pickup game last night due to bruised knee and aching hips. Sucks...

Well...Farajado *should* have made that 1-1. If ever there was the definition of "sitter" that was probably it. Not inspiring much confidence to be honest.

Okay...happy for the 2-0 scoreline but it belies Panama knocking at the door for the last 15 minutes. Could easily be 2-1 Panama.
