Bremen vs. Dortmund Dortmund have been awful and just had Schlotterbeck get his ass sent off. Justin Njinmah has been a handful for Dortmund to contain the whole game.
Villa v. Leicester in the EPL (which sucks) Former Fire "great" Jhon Duran scores two minutes after entering the match.
Yep, gave up three goals after the 87th minute. Not surprising, as I have heard the EPL sucks. Now, it is time for West Ham v. Manchester City. I will record it and watch on fast speed later on; I rather go and cut the back yard, now that I have fixed the lawn tractor.
I still don’t get what exactly Paramount+ does, but apparently it only shows sporting events on CBS Sports Network if I don’t want to watch them. Thought I’d check in on the Old Firm rivalry today but despite a whole section dedicated to the SPFL, the game wasn’t available. I’ve seen some NWSL games available and they even advertise that you can watch local NFL games with one of their subscription tiers, but no Celtic game for me. Also planning to not be able to watch Palermo today, as well. It didn’t take long for streaming to make me miss the days of just making sure I had the Fox Soccer Channel and Bien Sports package but here I am. I think we all knew streaming would end up sucking just as bad as cable, yet my dumbass is still surprised at how quickly it happened. I tried to watch Chelsea play against something called a Crystal Palace, but after 10 minutes I remembered the EPL sucks. British announcers are so boring they could make an orgy sound like a funeral. No thanks.
Liverpool put a beat down on the team formerly known as Manchester United, known as Manchester Mid Table at Best, in the big Sunday match up in the EPL (which sucks). 3-0, with a goal called back. Could have been a lot more.
People did not get what they asked for with streaming. People wanted to pick their channels so, for example, they could get a hundred channel package but exclude Newsmax and Fox News. This still hasn’t happened.
Forty years on and this is still the case. No service has provided a true 'a la carte' option and streaming has become more like cable than the reverse.
Spectrum's "streaming cable" (don't remember what it's actually called) is the worst for this. They are trying to make streaming like cable, but failing. You pay $75.00 for their service and on the screen they offer all sorts of "suggestions" for viewing. Click on one and it's "upgrade to view" since the recommended show is on a separate streaming service.
Calvo and Lassiter both scored for Costa Rico and Glasgow scored for Guyana today. (out of town, did not see either match.)
It’s the 2024-25 @CHIFireAcademy opening day at the new Performance Center! Still a lot of work to go, but it’s already looking incredible. #cf97 pic.twitter.com/EMMk1tSqFk— Patrick McCraney (@patrickmccraney) September 7, 2024
Watching hopefully the LAST Pochettino-less USMNT for a while. 0-0 in the 34th. Trying to get a buzz on to watch this horrible car crash of a "debate!"
