Don't predict that. If we have to go to extra time in the final, you can count on me Shittuing my pants.
I'm debating whether to go or not. Well it's more that I'm not sure if I'd be available but it's defintely top of my 'pending' file. Trouble is, no-one round here supports them so I'd have to go on my own. Still, there'll be a few like minded souls there.
There's gonna be serious drama Mike - no doubt about that. Whether or not we can avoid shittuing ourselves while following the match is up for debate.
Well, we'll be in all-white strips. http://www.qpr.premiumtv.co.uk/today/view/breaking_news_detail/0,,10373~384005,00.html
Should be interesting, I wish we were in hoops but the all whites have worked before...so we will give it a go.
Approx. 27,000 QPR tickets sold with less than 4,000 to go. Looks like we'll sell out our allocation. I'm assuming Cardiff will do the same and that the 9,000 "neutral" tickets will also go. What an atmosphere this one is going to have! http://www.qpr.premiumtv.co.uk/today/view/breaking_news_detail/0,,10373~384818,00.html
Naaaaah. I have us down as giving Baaarfiff a 4 - 0 thrashing!! 4-0 to the Superhoops!!! Two goals from Gallen, one from Furlong and an inexplicable one from Langers in the 3rd minute of time added on!!!!!!! GOINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COME ON URRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRssss!!! Dylan Presman
They gave us 400 more tickets, so we have 31,200 now. As of 3:30 this afternoon, we were down to just over 1,600 tickets. With the Peacock testimonial (and tickets being on sale until 7 p.m.), we could sell nearly all of the remainder tonight. http://www.qpr.premiumtv.co.uk/today/view/breaking_news_detail/0,,10373~385242,00.html (1,600 remain) http://www.qpr.premiumtv.co.uk/today/view/breaking_news_detail/0,,10373~385046,00.html (400 extra 36 pound tickets) Also, all trains are sold out. It's going to be amazing to be among 31K+ R's supporters!
You stayin in London Atouk? Got a hotel/way to get down there? And definitely get some good pics for us to see.
I'm planning to stay in the Bush. I was going to go with my "usual" place, the Grantly on Shepherds Bush Green, however their listing on activehotels is showing singles available for Sunday and Monday night, but not Saturday (they have a double on Saturday). However, when last I was there, he told me they don't make all of their rooms available on activehotels, so I'm going to give them a call and see. If they aren't available, I may look up that B&B you recommended on Ellerslie Road. As for transport, I went ahead and did the coach trip through the club. In the past, I've gone to road matches via train, preferring to be able to drink beer, get up, etc., but I heard things were getting booked up on the trains, so I went ahead and booked a coach ticket when I bought my match ticket. The coaches are leaving at 7 a.m. from Arial Way down off of Wood Lane near the BBC, so that's another reason I want to stay in the Bush. It's too early to be trekking from elsewhere.
http://www.qpr.premiumtv.co.uk/today/view/breaking_news_detail/0,,10373~385499,00.html Even with the extra 400 we received, we're down to 1,000 tickets remaining. Our total allocation should now total 31,200. According to the link below, Cardiff City was given an additional 1,500, which would take their total to 35,300. http://www.cardiffcity-mad.co.uk/news/loadnews.asp?cid=TMNW&id=104985
http://queensparkrangers.rivals.net//default.asp?sid=925&p=2&stid=8308283 QPRnet.com has a breakdown of our likely starting 11. It'll be interesting to see if Padula or Williams starts out left, if Pacquette gets in for Thomson up front, and if we do anything different with the midfield to get Gallen more into the action. The above article thinks we'll go with the same lineup as the second leg against Oldham. I tend to agree, but wonder if he might go with Pacquette from the start on Saturday.
And they're off! The lineups: CARDIFF - QPR Neil Alexander - Chris Day Rhys Weston - Stephen Kelly Daniel Gabbidon - Dan Shittu Spencer Prior - Clarke Carlisle Chris Barker - Gino Padula Willie Boland - Kevin Gallen Graham Kavanagh - Marc Bircham Gareth Whalley - Steve Palmer Andy Legg - Kevin McLeod Robert Earnshaw - Richard Pacquette Peter Thorne - Paul Furlong No Thommo, Pacquette is quicker.
HT 0-0. Cardiff has had more posession, but QPR have had all the dangerous chances. Furlong in particular has been dangerous. Earnshaw has done squat for Cardiff so far. Just one chance is all it will take...
Shittu, what can I say other than call you by your name:SHITTU. What a mistake! and at the worst time, with only five minutes left of extratime! And how selfish was kelly a few minutes earlier. Oh well, another year in bloody div2.
Campbell comes off bench to fire Cardiff into Div 1 http://www.football365.com/Match_Stats/Match_Reports/story_68605.shtml
Olly will be back. I predict we keep: Gino Day Langley Gallen Bircham Furlong Shittu Palmer Forbes Pacquette Lose: Carlisle and the loan guys... McLeod Williams Kelly Olly will sort out some more good loans (Cook again?) and will get us up automatically with Bristol City next year. And I'll be there for almost every match.
