There are people I've seen across different communities where those people clearly could not handle being a fan of an unsuccessful sports team. Being a Madrid fan is the easiest thing in the world.
Not really...we really went through a shit phase from 2002 to 2014 as far as champion's league was concerned to getting blanked by Lyon multiple times, crushed by Liverpool etc. Agree with your general sentiment though as we have been insanely blessed the last 10 years.
the 2008-10 seasons were absolutely painful. The low point was the Faubert transfer and his falling asleep on the bench. That and Barca’s rise.
Friend of mine is a season ticket holder for a club that's in elevator mode every single season, up down first second division. The worst thing that can happen to you as a Madrid fan is that you went to bed mildly unhappy. Imagine driving to the game in pouring rain and get gut punched down to the relegation zone at ass freezing temperatures. Being a Real Madrid fan is the first class ticket of first class tickets.
So much so that for some we must now win everything every year or...... gut the team, fire the coach and demand Flo retire ..... that's where we're at for some fans
🚨 Viní Jr, Rodrygo & Jude Bellingham are ALL set to PLAY vs Atalanta. pic.twitter.com/2p7YdUH4Ha— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) December 7, 2024 We are rushing back all three of them
⚪️🇺🇾 Fede Valverde: “I don't need a break, I want to keep playing”.“Obviously, sometimes your head can explode. After the mistake in Bilbao, I told my wife that I might have problems… but she told me that I was a team leader and that's what I try to be”. pic.twitter.com/tPDIWshxx9— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) December 10, 2024 Players play. Thats what the money is for.
Players want to play, they'd rather be on the pitch than be on the bench, unless you're someone like Bogarde or Bosingwa who seemed happy to sit around and get paid
Like the attitude, but also showing why we need a manager who's going to manage the players. Hideo Kojima is a genius, but leave him unchecked you get a mess like MGSV. Fede needs to be rested.
🚨 Viní Jr. is taking a risk tonight, he is not at 100% yet.He shortned the deadline of his return by 10 days. @diarioas pic.twitter.com/GtSe2DkHq8— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) December 10, 2024 We are playing with fire.
We are rushing back Vini and Rodrygo and Jude would probably have sat this one out if it wasn't a must win. I hope it pays off and they can continue their recovery in the coming week(s)
No reason for this. Believe it or not, tonight's game isn't make-or-break. Top-8 is likely out of the question even with three wins in the remaining three games. Odds are, this club is heading for the play-off round no matter what. They aren't losing to Salzburg and Brest, I'd be very comfortable betting on that. Right now, La Liga is a far bigger deal. We're right in the thick of things there no matter how up-and-down this season has felt. After today, there's four league games before the next CL game. Need to keep the focus on what's currently in front of us. We've gotten a bit fortunate that Barcelona's form has dipped recently which allowed us a road back into league contention, rushing Vini back for tonight's game threatens that a lot.
When it comes to the medical status of players, I have absolutely zero trust on these outlets to know what they're talking about. Almost every injury report saying how many games a player would miss is wrong.
To a certain degree, you can f*ck with injuries to the arm or shoulder because those are more pain tolerance issues, you use them when running of course and for balance, but for a sport designed around running and using your feet and legs (mainly) to control the ball, you can't mess around with leg injuries. Hamstrings in particularly tricky, you never actually know when it's healed past the point of being a risky relapse injury. I would've been just fine with keeping Vini away from game action until January. Maybe the physios have signed off here, and I know I shouldn't question the judgment of actual doctors and trainers who are qualified on these matters, but I sure hope these Real Madrid-hired physios aren't letting the people who sign their checks lead them into judgments they otherwise wouldn't make.

Only three games remaining in December. Rayo (A), Intercontinental Cup Final and Sevilla (H) on Dec 22. Then break until Valencia (A) on Jan 2.
Apparently Jude was holding his leg because he felt discomfort .. we really need to rest Jude, Fede and Rudiger.
I mean, recovery is not an Amazon order with a delivery date. I find it pretty funny that they feel like it was "shortened by 10 days" when he might not have felt better in 15. Its like we pretend we've never been sick or hurt when it comes to those injuries. The recovery time is pretty flexible.
