Being so far behind in chances created is still not good enough even if they have to do more defensive work than last season. If one wonders why we do so poor offensively we only have to look at that list and we have the reason. Jude has been a CAM for a good chunk of this season. Valverde was never a creative player but Jude has flattered to deceive this season. Cama is excellent but unfortunately his every misplaced pass is noted by Carlo and he never sees the pitch as soon as he makes a couple of misplaced passes.

Just reflecting back since the start of this season and realising how negative the mood around the club has been. From the highest of highs last season, to signing Mbappe in the summer … to this season; the general uninspiring performances, ACL injuries to Dani and Militao, feeling of imminent burnout to some key players, the poor mood surrounding Mbappe, the Vini Ballon D’Or incident, Carlo’s lack of urgency or ideas. Hope we turn The Dortmund win at the Bernabéu stands out as a clear high so far however, that was one of the best games in recent years.
Interesting, this happens also in the basketball team. Usually, RM basketball team is one of the 3 best clubs (Euroleage and Liga), but this season they allready have 12 losses just in December, while in the soccer team we have lost 5 games. Surprisingly, both teams in very bad condition in the CL/EL and could possibly get eliminate. Maybe it just a not our season… idk… a cursed season
I paid 500 Euro to travel just to watch the basketball team for a game they lost at the buzzer. I can honestly say that a lot of people here would consider hurting themselves if that were the case seeing as to how they react watching the stuff on tv.

The best news we can get. 🚨 BREAKING: Vini Jr. will return against Atalanta, confirms Carlo Ancelotti ✔️ pic.twitter.com/wVhft68KnR— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) December 6, 2024
Girona has to be the most comically single dimensional team in the sport. Checking through their passing/play stats, the phrase one trick pony doesn't even describe it. Pretty funny.
🚨 NEW: Rodrygo has muscular problems in his left leg. @AranchaMOBILE pic.twitter.com/P3OuKPbHpU— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) December 7, 2024 Rodrygo, Gonzalo y Chema son baja de última hora en la convocatoria del Real Madrid.— Arancha Rodríguez (@AranchaMOBILE) December 7, 2024 Rodrygo again injured… something is wrong with the team injuries this season. 3 injury in less then 4 months. Carlo has part of it. Players return from injuries. Yet, he sent them right away to play 90 minutes. He doesn’t want to give chance to Endrick, hardly Guler play, Chema, Fortea… If you lack of players, speak out loud to the one in charge.. This is cost us all season Nor Vini, Kroos, Militao, Carvajal, Rodrygo, Camavinga… 6 starters from last season… this is UNBELIEVABLE
Everyone has injuries we just notice ours because we follow closely. Barcelona has had a ton for example Colombian fans think Colombian players are soft because we have a lot of NT players injured You just see what is in front of you
Every team has injuries yes, but I don’t see teams with 5-6 starters injured simultaneously: Vini, Rodrygo, Carvajal, Militao, Camavinga..
I'm not sure, but only Real Madrid is experiencing a lot of injuries. This may be partly due to lower squad rotation and physical preparation. Along with Carlos, we might need a new physical trainer.
I don’t think people understand how athletes are subject to constant injuries As a fitness maniac, I will always have more pains and injuries than the fat guy at the office who never leaves his home except to work. People look at me when I’m injured and say all those muscles for what, it’s all plastic cuz he is soft cuz he is always injured. They don’t get it A life of fitness and competition is a life of injuries. Players get injured. That’s just part of it. Some teams go to some unlucky stretches but over the long run, it all balances out

Seems like we are rushing players back out of necessity and this of course leads to another quick breakdown.
Have the timelines been rushed? Like if they say 3 weeks and they come early? Asking genuinely because I really haven’t paid close attention
We don't even know if those time lines are accurate. What I do know from my own experience is if I rush the treatment, recovery then fitness process.. my probability of another quick breakdown is higher.
We've been giving players a lot of time off for "rest" which is silly to me and doesn't serve any kind of purpose. But that's how football works. Feeling tired? Go mess around, we'll look the other way. Cheap and easy morale boost that only harms you in the long run.
