One of the most protected players in RMBS by a mile. Mendy can be useful if you want to do Simeone-tier football terrorism, I guess. But beyond that, not really. His strengths only ever shine when we allow the opponent to pin us back.
Lol you need to calm down, no one is bothered whether you care about what i think or not, least of all me, it's a message board, i care that Madrid wins, he has won with Madrid, he didn't wake up one day and decide, "you know what, i'm going to go to Madrid and play for them" not one but two of our most successful coaches wanted him at Madrid, seeing as they are the ones who actually make the decisions , only their thouights really matter, put on your big boy pants and suck it up....... See above, both of you guys/girls seem to actually believe what you think really matters in the grand scheme of things, way way too serious, it's just message board talk, just like mine, they're just random opinions, in the meantime, keep doing what you're doing, maybe it will make a difference....
At the Real Madrid AGM on the 24th November, the socio-ownership model of the club will be one of the main topics discussed. With a view to move towards a socio / shareholder system. Economists are calling this a "small step towards part-privatisation".
Don't we already have a Real Madrid company that owns the business side of the new Bernabeu and the construction business? This seems like it will be legal hell.

Not every youth department is functioning as a pipeline to the first team in europe. A lot of clubs use them in a competitive manner, to have strong youth teams in youth tournaments and sort of establish the strength of the club in young players minds from a young age so when they become pros they recall their experiences with and against those clubs and have certain expectations. When i helped out at a team that faced clubs like Bayern, PSG, Arsenal, we were always floored with the kind of service they had. Custom tracksuits, pro style sponsored kits, Fresh new boots, their own drink supply in trays and boxes like a pro team etc. I've seen youth teams sign strong youth players that have zero potential above that level, but they help improve the youth team competitively.
We poach a lot of talent from other Spanish clubs in last decade or so much like Barca so pretty high investment for a youth set up regarding contracts handed out for sure. Joan came from Valencia, Asencio from Las Palmas, Fortea from Atletico. Gavi came from Betis, Gerrard Martin from Cornella.
How much investment goes into the other aspects? coaches, facilities etc. Finding it hard to excuse not having players promoted for the reason given by Carlo.
I'm surprised that Florentino didn't succeed in politics given how much his club statements mirror political statements but considering he got out of it in the 80s,maybe he was just ahead of his time back then.
Sounds about right to me, especially for this club, my opinion...... i imagine if we were bringing young players through season after season but winning little to nothing (we've been close to that already with Zidanes and Pavons, it's been tried) there would be absolute chaos in here, of course the first and main objective is to win, that's a no brainer for me, if we did not win fans here would be even more indignant, Carlo would be fired in a heartbeat, they're unhappy now because we are "supposed" to win, who's for keeping Carlo (or any coach) if the team is 50% players who've come through the youth team but not winning ? We are second in the table and the outcry is deafening, some will claim that is because the team is not playing well, but i guarantee you if we were playing how we are now but 6 points ahead the conversation would be somewhat different I get the need for trying to bring youngsters through, the best ones make it IMO, the balance has to be right, but Farcas' start to the season has really rilled up everyone, Farca has had one generation where the youngsters came through and made a long term difference, this present lot have won nothing as yet, their fans can praise them bringing through youngsters all they like but i'm sure they would have liked to have been winning the trophies that we have won since their Messi Xavi and Iniesta days. More often than not they have had duds, especially when they had no cash and promoted a whole bunch of youths to fill out the squad, nearly all of them have since disappeared from view, certainly disappeared from their first team. IMO Lesser teams (no disrespect) use more of their youth because 1) less of a demand to win the big comps, 2) less cash to spend on a regular basis on the best youngsters or just general talent available in the world and..... in Farca's special case, no money at present, maybe they have gotten lucky, let's see
We are a demanding club, not a kindergarten. If youth are good enough then they'll see them in the first team - doesn't mean to say they'll start. It's a results first business and then everything else second.
He pretty much buried it and put a candle and flowers around it. Spoke about it in past tense, in general he backpedaled on a lot after going endlessly about how bad it all is.

Delusionally optimistic POV, even for myself : As injury-ridden and unorganized the team has been this season, we're quietly on pace for 88 points. That's a total that would've won the league every year since 2018-2019. Maybe we're not as bad as it has looked at times. Also in the champions league, 2 wins 2 losses through 4 of the 8 games has us in 18th place. Sounds like shit but are we really at risk of missing out of the top 24? Are 6 more teams going to accumulate more points than us when the next 4 are played? Tough test against Liverpool, but then we've got Atalanta, Salzburg, and Brest. Another 6 points should see us through. It may not get us in the top 8, but if we have to play a playoff to survive, this team should be able to withstand that adversity.
Well barca dropped points and all of a sudden things aren't so bad... If we get thumped on Wednesday it will be the end of the world all over again
Multiple teams are having issues, City are practically struggling health and result wise, but we're treating Carlo here as if he's a total idiot. Apparently this is a crippled tired squad, and it's not even December. What a load of nonsense. We need to find solutions inhouse and question what we currently do wrong, but that's hardly possible when our president and overlord is out there proclaimed we are THE BEST AT EVERYTHING.
