It's going to be tight especially for the last 4 clubs in the top 8, with a cut-off of around 16-17 points, and we will have quite a few competitors to beat (more than half a dozen) to get there.
Tough times like these make me appreciate the success we've had so much more. Two doubles in 3 years is not normal at all! Most clubs can't even dream of doing that. Hala Madrid!
I read this comment; honestly I laughed. "Imagine closing the roof of the stadium just to get cooked inside it."
1854563396516987128 is not a valid tweet id Disgrace, these two players made their biggest contributions to RM in that season.
Real Madrid's problem is in midfield. Real Madrid had the best midfield in the world with Casemiro, Modric and Kroos. A superb midfield, comparable to Busquets, Xavi and Iniesta. That midfield won games single-handedly. All that's left is Modric, aged 39. Modric no longer seems to have the stamina to play the full 90 minutes at a high level. Tchouaméni and Camavinga are two big guys with little game. One of them can be useful depending on the situation. But nothing more. It's a brutal technical drop. Ironically, one player who left Real Madrid because of a lack of opportunities, who would fix this team today, is Odegaard With the squad available, Carlo should give Ceballos more opportunities or move Bellingham back.
He goes “full vets only” mode. Personally I don’t think Fortea could be any worse than Lukas. Only an injury/ suspension to Vasquez will give him PT. And even then I believe he’d rather move Militao or Fede there.
Odegaard had plenty of chances, he ran away simply because he wasn't guaranteed to be in the starting XI and didn't want to compete with a 30+ yo Modric. As simple as that.
I don't know how i can justify saying that the difference between winning and losing 4-0 and 1-3 to Milan is Miguel. Sorry, i can't. You need multiple moves of that kind of tier to make an improvement.
Mendy has been horrific. I think Fran has improved enough to be on even footing with Mendy but once Carlo doesn't like what he sees, he shuts down on a player.
The thing that's sort of misunderstood is that while fans will think that way, a coach won't change players "simply to try it and see if it works", that's what practice is supposed to be there for. You won't switch your lead singer mid set just to try a different voice during the show. It just shows desperation.
Good Lord that just seems like a terrible idea. Just play Camavinga man. Damn. This issue isn't a one player problem is a compounded issue which we need a system to help us adapt through
The main takeaway from JFD's article is that the club will not make any transfers. Carlo will be looking in-house for his needs.
He didn't even make the squad list for the game tomorrow despite the injuries so yea....Carlo is playing it safe and will not be using this kid at all. Grateful for what Joselu did but I'm not sure he'd see the same minutes or impact with Mbappe, Vini, Bellingham and Vini in front of him let alone start games.
If Mendy is at MF tomorrow and we don’t improve, Carlo deserves to get the sack. I can’t think of a more bonehead move.
