That's a massive if. We saw this since the UEFA Super Cup: our entire organizational structure is flawed, no proper positioning across all three lines, the opposition –regardless of calibre– dictate play and tempo, our coach is a mere spectator that cannot make proper adjustments and keeps highlighting the same issues in pressers without doing much about them.. This is not about individuals but about the team. We are a non-functional unit atm.
No no hes just a kid. Let a winger with 0 defensive awareness and a body of a 16 year old play RB. We rather play a midfielder as a defender (Tchou), than actually playing a central defender from the youth in that position. And do the same for Lucas, Ancelotti logic.
So, Barca can play with kids 15-17 and let them start while we can’t ? Young players are hungry and will put 200% effort to justify their playing
1854286161826681230 is not a valid tweet id Next games: Liverpool away (1st place) Atalanta away (9 place) Salzburg home (30) Brest away (4)
Daytime matches are always a banana peel for us. Especially against teams that are going to kick the crap out of us.
To paraphrase Guardiola, running is for horses, smart players let the ball do the running. Problem is not that we don't run enough, problem is we don't attack well enough for it to not matter.
By the way, what makes Barca B players integrating into the first team much easier is that Barca always try to play the exact same football from top to bottom. That allows the players to plug in much easier especially in positions where you have a lot of responsibility.
We have 4 matches left in the CL. 1. Liverpool away 2. Atalanta away 3. Salzburg home 4. Brest away I expect a trashing at Anfield based on the current form of both teams. I think that Salah will finally get his revenge. Atalanta away will also be a tricky one. Atalanta is in great form (Lookman is a beast), they beat Napoli away this weekend and already have 8 points in the CL league table. The only match I'm confident we will win is Salzburg at home. Brest away will be tough, especially if this will be a make or break match for us to continue competing in the CL.
That makes sense when looked at from the perspective of our current status, which i expect/hope to be improved upon.
If Carlo is not stupid he'll give this RB kid a chance instead of splashing milions on another galactico who won't give a shit about the club itself, just his individual achievements. He is definitely good enough to start ahead of Vazquez, which is not a high bar but he could improve a lot over time.
