I think Xabi's no nonsense perona is going to clash big time with guys like Vinicius, Mbappe and Bellingham. There's a reason he got along so well with Mourinho and Benitez. It will never work with him as a Madrid manager mainly because he despises "stars" and "star power", how could he ever manage a Galactico project.
That's non-sense; the players will respect the manager. It is expected of them. The reason players resented Benitez and Mourinho was due to their negative brand of football.

Distance covered per game in CL this season. Not in order. Mbappe 7 km Vini 9 km Jude 8.75 km Valverde 8.5 km Mendy 7km Modric 5.25 km Dani 10 km Lucas 6.75 km Tchouaméni 6.25 km If we compare it to Barca Balde 10km Kounde 10.34 km Pedri 10km Casado 11.34 km Lewa 8.67 km Yamal 8 km Raphina 10 km Barca are more hardworking across the board. But it's ironic that Vini is actually the one who covers the most distance in our team not named Dani and matches that of the Barca players. Even more ironic of Jude to put his hands up in the air when an attacker covers more distance than him. All Barcas midfielders and fullbacks cover at least 10 km while ours are glad if they cover 8 km. Their attackers around 8-10 km while only one has more than 7 for us. We have a problem alright. But we need to direct our anger at the right players

Mbappe: 8.9 Lewandowski: 10 That's right, he won't even cover more ground than a 36 year old. Similarly, Raphinha also covers more ground than Vini and by some distance. Someone needs to crack a whip on some of these guys (or so to say).
Pedri absolutely dominated in the game against us, pass distribution numbers and accuracy from a different galaxy compared to us. He outperformed our entire midfield in distribution almost by himself.
He works really hard off the ball and it's one of the reasons they signed Dani Olmo as well (besides him being a pain in the arse to deal with his attacking runs, I call him the Spanish Thomas Müller).

I truly believe the players know they won everything.. and not once. Despite that, we are Real Madrid. The demands are always win titles
not necessarily a bad thing - If carlo actually make the right adjustment, stop with the whole "modric can start games" and introduce someone like Ceballos to the starting line instead of doing the "I will shift everyone so Vini, Mbappe and Jude can play"
