Kroos is my number one choice as a great coach in future if he chooses that path.

He should have left already 2 season ago after they lost in the playoffs, or at least in the end of last season.

Rafa Nadal can now focus on becoming the heir to Florentino Perez.

I actually think Pepe would make a good coach in some capacity.

Interesting choice. What are your reasons?

He's incredibly tricky and clever. Sky Germany did a breakdown of his play for Porto because him playing at that level at his age and they were constantly pointing his awareness in space, intercepting runways and being intelligent. Not just basics, I was floored how they were pointing out him being aware what's going on behind his back.

I think his underrated game IQ and the fear factor he brings as a person would work very well in a coaching setting.

No clue. No real way to predict. Xavi was a master in midfield but a so-so manager. Arteta was a rather mediocre footballer but is seemingly a good manager. Lampard & Gerrard were good footballers but very poor managers. Inzagi was a striker but doing well as a manager (though I’d hazard a guess he’s an exception to the rule). Klopp another average footballer but brilliant manager.

Just an obersevation from my end. Again: no data to back it up. Just a feeling that strikers especially somehow don’t usually make good managers.

Add Simone Inzaghi to that list. But yeah agree, mostly it’s been dominated by midfielders: Cesc, Motta, Xabi, Sahin to name a few up and coming managers.

Funnily enough Simone Inzaghi had a rather insignificant career as a footballer while his brother Filippo was a household name, but as managers the roles have totally reversed; the latter turned out to be a mediocre manager and the former is doing extremely well.

We should reinforce, no questions about it.

If we do not, more of our players will suffer tough injuries.

That is the problem indeed. Not the extra games and travel. The potential for 30 extra mins…clowns.

Glad that the club recognized Rafa's career after he announced his retirement following the conclusion of the Davis Cup Finals.

This one's a sad day for me as Rafa is my favorite sportsman. Hoping he can still be involved with tennis in some capacity as well as football. #RafaSiempre

I can just imagine the conversation between them. It's like Bram Stoker's Dracula book with a team of scientists, doctors and lawyers trying to come up with a plan on how to deal with him.

Solari: You have no idea what you're up against Carlo. Take it from me, you can go on an impressive no loss streak and far exceed expectations while navigating an impossible situation, but one bad week and he will be on the phone with Zizou.

Carlo: You think I don't know that. He wanted me come up with a new system and play Bale as a #10 while Bale was coming off of an injury. I told him I can't work miracles, so he fired me and he hired Rafa Benitez.

Jose Angel Sanchez: We must try something. I believe if we expose him as being impaired due to old age the press will run with a story about the Presi like they did Biden and hopefully I can walz right into office without anyone noticing.

Can you share the link of Sky Germany's analysis of Pepe's performance ?

I'll look for it. You can basically wrap up what they say about him based on one highlight from a CL game, if i dont find the halftime show, i'll look for that instead.

Modric with a MOTM performance against Scotland. I'll be surprised if he isn't a starter come the end of the season. Looks like he'll be a mainstay in the same way Kroos was because we currently lack creativity from midfield

He simply presents something that we don't have. He will logically grab a spot.

So the club's really going to wear the tread off of Vini, Rdrgygo, Fed, Camavinga, etc., just to squeeze out the last little of juice from Modric and hope that at some point Mbappe with his "rest" between posssessions and all other times he doesn't have a ball at his feet - looks like the best player in the world they told us we were getting.
