Fortea gets a lot of love from the Castilla Corner guys. Seems he might be a decent RB option in a few years. That would be great for the club.

Supporting one of the best teams ever during one of it's most successful stretches ever isn't the emotional labour you think it is. This is a very easy club to support.
Seems like more the life of a personal with no control over their emotions and a poor mental state. I'm sure you're like this in every part of your life. It has nothing to do with supporting the most successful club in history who just won another CL and league title.
Camavinga is a unique profile re our CMs. Would be nice to get another technically capable deep playing CM. Also, Endrick is great but we need a CF on the bench that is a threat in the air. Other than our set pieces, there's absolutely no point to crossing the ball. The opposition defense doesn't need to worry about it.
I also think we need to go back to a 442 and bring Rodrygo off the bench and start him in cup games. I know he will likely leave as a result... but I think this is his last year anyhow.
Club that has won more Champions League titles in the last 11 years than every other club (except Milan, Liverpool, and Bayern) has ever won in their entire histories. Such suffering.
Lol. Even when we're winning this is you. 5 games into the season you and a few of the other wets on here have completely soiled the bed.
🚨 Aurelien Tchouaméni played with foot discomfort against Stuttgart. @relevo pic.twitter.com/YV6StE03iG— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) September 19, 2024 If this is true this is starting to get pretty worrisome.
🚨 Carlo Ancelotti will start implementing a 4 midfielders formation soon.It will be used especially in away matches and in big games. The match vs Atlético Madrid is on the horizon. @jfelixdiaz pic.twitter.com/A68HZBuHfn— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) September 19, 2024
Won't change a thing if Mbappe doesn't actually do his job and press and run at least a LITTLE. Vini over there relaxing as well seeing KingMbappe only interested to run if it ends in receiving a pass in the box.
I dunno how Carlo could make Mbappe defend even for a bit. He isn’t that type of coach. He needs to be able to defend even for short spurts. He’s so disengaged defensively. Even CR7 defended at his age.
At this point in the season, I think it’s a clear directive from Ancelotti to be conservative with the press and not burn ourselves out pressing. I do think in bigger moments of the season he will ask more of the attackers to contribute defensively. But we’ve clearly not been interested in establishing a more cohesive and suffocating press regardless of who is out there. We’ve sat in a mid block and trying to hit on the counter whether it was BBC or VMR, whether it was KCM or its CTF. I once thought that with the changing of eras, we might change philosophies, but that’s clearly not the case. We have shown flexibility in personnel and shape and positioning, but when it comes to patterns of play or pressing, we simply don’t want to.
You can tell when we are trying to high press at times he just checks out mentally and that makes the press even easier to break.
I'm starting to have feelings about it tbh, its quite the contrast when Bellingham and Dani are coughing up a lung and these 2 are sunning themselves and ordering drinks
You could even see in the first match at halftime when Jude is trying to nicely tell them (specifically KM) it's hard as he'll for them to run all the way back so make the most of the attacks...... since your ass ain't going to actually help with the running back part.
Well i mean most teams have 3 CFs on the squad. The 3rd one tends to be multidimensional, so not just a CF. Reason is that injuries happen and you never want to be down to 1 CF for a game. So we have Mbappe and Endrick. Who's the 3rd? Maybe Rodrygo... but again, similar profile. Limits us tactically against park-the-bus tactics if needed. Nobody can play as a target in the box. You can't dribble or pass through 8 defenders unless you're extremely technical... and we are not that.
