Wonderful. I want the team to win every game but this came together as predicted so quick you can just laugh and point at the people at fault and enjoy the chaos.

Terrible, terrible planning by the club.

I know everyone bows down to Don Flo Corleone, but he screwed up this time.

It's gonna be a tough season. Don't worry, this is not panic, I'm completely fine. I'm just saying it will be a challenging season. Hopefully, such notion won't offend anyone here.

Free agent market still open. Ramos and Matip are available. Don't think club's stance will change though.

With so many more games the squads are going to have to be bigger. I understand that the club only wants proven players or players with high ceiling, but the CB situation is iffy even when everyone is healthy. It's stupid to have such a great team and then have a glaring weakness that could derail the season.

Exactly how many CB's would you like the team to have "just in case" even if we had bought someone in that would have meant no Jacobo for the first team, so, Eder, Toni, David, Vallejo, Jacobo, Joan, new signing, that's 7, plus Tchou as cover, how many CB's should we have on our books just to make sure we are covered? apparently limitless, IMO if this is all true it's unfortunate rather than "lack of depth" and "see i told you the club should have bought someone" which team has 7 CB's just sitting around .......

Counting Jacobo and Joan is just disingenuous man. Since when have we counted Castilla’s Cb’s towards the senior teams depth? Joan wasn’t even a Castilla player last season, but in the Juvenil level.

The senior teams depth is Militao Rudiger Alaba and Vallejo. Thats 4, with 1 of them still recovering from a torn acl and the other having played as many minutes in 2024 as I have.

How many times do we have to rehash this? We sold Nacho who played over 3k minutes and replaced him with Vallejo who hasn’t played 3k minutes in any season of his career and hasn’t played that in the last 5 years combined.

We don’t need to pretend like we have the same amount of depth. We don’t and the team knows that. If not they wouldn’t have been trying to buy Yoro.

Oh and that’s without mentioning one of our starting cb’s was coming off a torn acl himself and likely to have lingering injury issues.

7 cb’s? This is next level propaganda for the front office decision. By that logic, every team that has an academy has 6-7 cb’s as senior depth.

They’re the most successful front office in the sport world, but it doesn’t mean they’re infallible in every decision.

Let’s hope the reports are overstating these injuries and we will actually have healthy guys for Anoeta.

You forgot to finish your thought with an enigmatic ".............."

Even the last person here admitted we're going into the season short handed. We all knew it. We threw the dice and risked it.

Nah we're good. Carlo was told to look in-house at the Castilla CBs..oh wait..

Last night after the injuries, the media was going on about young Jacabo being the promised one: "In Valdebebas they say..now he too is injured

    Probably, in a ugly fashion.

We'll have our first NFL match ever here in Brazil, I'll try to catch that one on TV, as I used to follow the Packers quite closely about ten years ago.

    Eagles are cool.
I just can't not support green teams. My favorite color. Hoping for a green Madrid kit soon.
