Well, Flo is beeing cheeky. He only said he was bidding for a Galactico level player, I don't actually think he guaranteed the player.

His spokesperson JFD confirmed the player. It's a bid though.

Yea. No chance of Kroos joining Riquelme. His tenure at RM under Flo ended on a great note too unlike Iker, Raul, VDB and Hierro. Raul and Iker has reasons to hate Mou as well.

Kroos put together a better youth team than both Atletico and Real Madrid.

I don't know who/how the program is funded but I find it pretty funny the guy just said he'll take a group of kids and ended up having an elite program, no transfers, no foreign stars.

I remember him posting the open workouts for new kids and thought he must be Really bored.

First City, then Haaland's father, and afterwards his agent all said this dude is lying. Now Toni is saying this dude is lying too.

Perez doesn't even need to do anything, Enrique is doing all the work for him.

Weren't you front of the line cheering those on?

Ah, yes desiring accountability from others while having none yourself.

People need to pump the brakes a bit with the Riquelme pile-on.
    • Toni's denial was about a journalist's erroneous report, not a direct claim by Riquelme.
    • Riquelme said he spoke to Haaland's agent and pledged to sign him, he didn't say he already had an agreement in place with him, much less with City.
    • City's blustering about "considering legal action" for "use of our player image" due to Riquelme holding up a Haaland jersey on TV makes me question anything else they said. At least make an actionable accusation like tapping up.

In what world is it legal for any sporting institution to have someone who represents it make shirt with a player they don't own rights for, then parade it on television while guaranteeing future ownership?

All of this while not having any kind of notarized document or legal loophole in the players contract to give credence to such a claim?

What Riquelme did would amount in immediate liability in sane places

But Riquelme doesn’t represent us right now, at least not legally. Second off If Haaland does have a release clause and Riquelme is fully aware of how to activate it, then I don’t see the problem, again from a legal stand point. Even more so if as he says, he allready talked to the player and got the Ok.

I don’t get where there is a problem here. All candidates lie about stuff all the time and so does everyone involved until things are official. Apart from Riquelme saying he has haaland under contract and will pay out if he doesn’t, nothing else that has been said actually holds any weight. Neither does that statement because the only way to test Riquelmes statement is if he actually wins which I would say is about 2%. So really. Everything that has been said is just hearsay and false promises. Now had Flo said I will sign a galáctico for 150, it’s pretty much a done deal, I would be more inclined to believe it. Anyone can Make a bid. Watch Flo win, we bring in konate and dumfries and Mou… then everything will go quiet for a while.

I think Riquelme is digging himself into a grave he cant come out of. You have to understand that what Perez promises and what Riquelme promises hold different weights since Perez has a proven track record and Riquelme doesn't. Riquelme has shown nothing that would guarantee Haaland's signatures.

He started off the campaign by saying he wanted more Spanish players and the only one he has mentioned is Rodri and he would probably comeeven if Calderon was the president. He said he had a deal with a coach who is currently coaching and it turns out he was referring to Klopp and the only coaching he does right now is on FM. Agents are coming out one by one to deny links to him. At this point I dont think anyone will want to let their name be connected with his campaign. They are all lining up to deny connections a few minutes after he mentions their names.

He says Haaland has a release clause but all reputable sources say that if such clause exists it doesn't come into effect until many years from now. Even journalists close to the player's team.

Also, one would think if Haaland indeed had a release clause, Flo would have known about it and tried to have brought him in himself or at least floated the idea around.

Riquelme doubled down on his lie yesterday claiming Haaland has a 180 ME release clause. City will definitely take him to the court.

    This is embarrassing
The entire election process needs an overhaul

You can’t just make stuff up, lie to the fans and the voting public and have no consequences.

    it undermines the entire process

Juanma Castano gets his info straight from the horses mouth.

    maxresdefault (12).jpg

Got the first exclusive interview with him as well. He has been pushing Klopp, Haaland rumors all day, and if it weren't for Kroos denying it, this one too would've been recycled by the media.

So hey. Honestly, this guy could've built for the future by pitching a solid campaign but he pitched a circus tent instead.

Said he has a coach, a sporting director, players, but he has shown to have absolutely nothing.

Marca's cover page is 'Klopp, Raul 's Chosen One'. They also chose not to post any article about Klopp's agent denying. While Raul going for Klopp article was published online as soon as Riquelme said it. Interesting politics by the media as well.

Marca doesn't report Klopp's agents statement and comes up with this.

Klopp has given his approval to Riquelme's statement and will receive his call on Monday if the candidate wins the election.

He claims that he has been offering Haaland to the club since 2021 but Florentino "turned me down every time". Speaks of Haaland as if he's his private property, weirdos all of them really.
