You're missing the point. Perez doesn't get to cry about Negreira and the 7 league titles that were "stolen" from him when his godson and the future CEO under the new ownership model saved Barcelona from bankruptcy. The only reason he's incessantly bitching about Negreira now and boycotting games at Camp Nou is because Barcelona pulled out of his failed Super League project.
He saved them from bankruptcy while making bank for it. Barcelona and Madrid have common sponsors. Neither club goes to the company and says stop giving them money
Anything else Riquelme promises can be true or false. This one cannot. To me that is the issue. I only deal with the facts and Riquelme has presented zero of them. Nothing he presented has a foundation to it.
Acting like Riquelme invented the wheel with this, when literally everyone is doing it and most profitable businesses (and states) find a way to balance the sheet. So why would we trust him if nothing he says seems possible or plausible? For what it's worth, the majority of what Perez is showing is either already wrapped up or very achievable. This along with the long experience and familiarity gives Florentino a huge trust bonus and Riquelme is not gaining any trust by presenting Mickey Mouse plans. I would entertain an option with a concrete plan and serious ideas. Not somebody that's in it for the fun of it feeling like he won't win anyway.
No you wouldnt. Because any plan like that would have to be too big of a departure from Florentino, and as we know there is a lot that is still good with Florentino's way of doing things. This needs to be retained. A plan youre talking about would completely break off Florentino, it would be a revolution and people would discard it as unfeasible. It happens all the time. It would be something like arcane or I'm not sure who said lets elect the board members, something unprecedented. Lets not lie to ourselves here. You wouldnt support anyone under any conditions because you think Florentino is the best we can do.
This is all on Florentino Perez. Riquelme runs a better campaign with a reasonable amount of time to prepare. More credible candidates emerge with a reasonable amount if time to prepare a campaign.
