Changing coaches doesn't seem to make much sense unless we're going to back the manager over the players for the tough decisions that have to be made. Otherwise, might as well stick with Arbeloa.

    Such a great point.

We are suffering so much because so many of our players have such low football IQs. Being physically or even technically strong without knowing "how to play the game" isn't enough.

We need to inject some football intelligence into the squad asap.

Benzema, Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Marcelo ....all damn near geniuses at understanding the game. Of course they were not hard to coach...

We had a unique group of players who were incredible on the ball,Modric,Kroos,Isco,Benzema,Marcelo,Carvajal even Casemiro and Ramos.

Now you can see we dont have a single player who is even close to that. The lack of techical abilities is shocking ,the midfield can complete 5 passes for 2 years ,the fullbacks just dont have the quality, the inteligence, techic and passing of Benzema is nowhere to be seen in the other french

the fall is spectacular,Rodri or something like that is not enough ,5 new players who can play with the ball and can fn pass it well are needed

I don't know man. Don't completely agree with this. We genuinely came close to knocking out a very good Bayern Munich. The reason we're not winning La Liga is because we failed to beat the likes of Getafe and Mallorca. We're not winning the Copa Del Rey is because we lost to Albacete.

Skill wise, the players aren't the problem. It's just our attitude is shit. Well, taking that back slightly, if Vini and Mbappé could actually shoot decently we would have probably beat Bayern.

Not to mention the shocking skill deficiencies some of the star players have namely:

TAA: lack of focus and awareness in defense
Mbappe: first touch not up to par, zero aerial game, poor off ball movement
Vini: can’t shoot, poor decision maker
    Camavinga: low iq, error prone

Looks like Flo is disappointed at some of the players. I expect major changes in the summer.

It will be a repeat of the Perez's first era.

Presi spoiled the players as he admitted later (they were actual Galacticos), claimed that none of the coaches were able to get the best out of them, club went into a shit cycle until he quit..

I doubt major changes will happen in the squad. Forget those who's contracts end the summer but he cannot force any of the other players to leave, they can all pull Alabas and there is absolutely nothing he can do about it..

Real Madrid's youth team beat PSG's youth team in the semi-final on penalties after the game ended in a 1–1 draw.Javi Navarro, the goalkeeper, saved three penalties.
They will face Club Brugge in the final on Monday at 6:45 pm CEST.

Well on positive note, Madridistas , season is not really over. Our youth team is in the Final of Champions League and basketball team is just t advanced to playoffs of Euro league. As far as main team, we will rise again, i have no doubt, but meanwhile we have memories that others can only dream to have. So rejoice my friends, Madrid will be back again you just watch.

We have these many injuries where players have to play out of position but let’s reduce the squad size. Makes sense.

One has to ask then: why was Fran Garcia's winter move to Bournemouth blocked by the club?

My prediction is that the guys "easy to sell" will probably go: Gonzalo, Fran, maybe Asencio Brahim and Cama.

Gonzalo might leave on a loan or with a buyback clause.

Fran's transfer to Bournemouth was blocked by the club in January.

Brahim is a good squad player.

Ajax are interested in Ceballos but we've seen this movie before. He only wants Betis who cannot afford him and/or the bonuses for his mother (e.g. last summer)

Cama doesn't want to leave and probably won't.

It will be difficult to convince these players to leave. Of course Marca and AS will come out to let us know that they are key figures in the locker room and loved by everyone.

Yea, allowing Xabi to coach those two Super Copa Games and 5-1 win vs Betis in January was the turning point. Excuses Florentino's stooges in the media comes up with is hilarious. They kept him until Super Copa because Arbeloa would have a soft schedule to start. But Albacete disaster happened which one one expected.

Whats even more funnier is that the report said "they were waiting for the right coach",

Then they just chuck in the Castilla coach, which is basically a run of the mill decision.

These guys don’t know how to lose lol. Got whooped, started fighting and got 3 red cards, and then instead of admitting defeat they say they’ll see us in the wc and kick our asses

    man, it’s generic for them

    This!

No doubt we will be back on top. These kind of shitty seasons are needed to set the team back on track. I can see that people like Jude, Arda and Kilyan won't just sit around and be mediocre. They're not built that way. The youth team is in a final and the last basketball game was actually fun with Luka (Doncic) also in attendance to see Sergio Lull shoot old man threes (and make em). Give younger players more mins the rest of the league season and give the pillars of the team like Fede some rest, these folks will play big mins during the summer so giving them less work load now might help them (and us) at the beginning of next season. After the disappointment of this shitty season with so many injuries and silly decisions i am back to feeling optimistic. I'll enjoy the world cup (only the football which is always the best part of the whole corrupt shitshow and which is the only thing holding this whole money making scheme together) and then our guys will be back and fight for all titles after bolstering the squad after the world cup.

Not scored in La Liga for 4 years. Watch him bag an hat-trick vs us tomorrow.
