No, Klopp already went public about his thoughts on this club. He doesn't rate it highly because the player power is insane, and it won't change while Florentino is presi. I just hope after next season, if Madrid is trophyless, he has the decency to see himself out. I'm honestly fed up with Florentino, JAS and all their lackeys.
I don't know how many times Klopp has come out basically completely shattering any potential move to Madrid. I have lost count. Klopp is repeatedly slapping around Madrid in the press, and yet the media keeps clamouring like it is a possibility. Klopp is enjoying retirement (has said so multiple times) and doesn't even really follow football anymore, hates the player power set up of Madrid, and believes Floro runs this club like a circus. He sounds like a Barca supporter the way he chastises the club and yet the media thinks this is possible?
I think people are forgetting how much control Klopp had at the previous clubs he managed. He had authority in choosing the players to start and but not full say on transfers for instance.
Tough to be optimistic right now. Team could still pull something off this week, it’s that kind of squad. Team could also get steam rolled, it’s that kind of squad. A few years ago the future looked incredible, coming off absolutely historic highs while’s signing some amazing talent. Transition seemed to be set, board got complacent and kept riding its luck not filling some key holes while getting some flashy talent. It turned fast, maybe it’ll change again for some optimism. That’s all we have.
The same people giving us no chance against Bayern gave us no chance against Man City. Obviously we are not favored to go through, but given the individual talent we have and our players' penchant for lifting themselves for the CL, a win is more than possible.
Tbf, the most likely way we are getting through Bayern is that one or two of the stars have a spectacular night. Similar to what Fede had against City. I am not too confident about this group beating Bayern via superior team play.
I give Bayern a 90% chance of at least getting a tie in the Allianz Arena. The more likely scenario is that they serve Real Madrid a dose of humble pie. Bayern doesn't lose too many games at home.
For sure. One goal deficit going into an away game isn’t something we’re used to but if the players are brave and ready to leave it all on the pitch, we can win. They were neither of those things (apart from Rudiger and Tchouameni) in the first leg so let’s see. Camavinga is the real danger zone for us, way too many low IQ plays from him lately, plus guarding our defence alone, we need him to have a big game.
The good thing is we have Mendy back. We need him to play his best match. Jude has to start. Also Vini and Mbappe need to finish far better (Mbappe needs to play for the team off the ball)
What happened to the club never giving up like Perez was spewing yesterday? Mental midgets. 🚨 JUST IN: There is an acceptance now at Real Madrid that La Liga is LOST. @MarioCortegana pic.twitter.com/pnkls4uEVp— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) April 13, 2026
Imo the tie versus Bayern is over, we're not making any sort of comeback tomorrow. I have zero trust in this team. The most likely scenario is that Bayern will thrash us with a big margin. They will play at home where they have an amazing record. Seriously, this has to be one of the worst Real sides in the past 10 years or so. There are no leaders in this team and this can be seen on the pitch. Going second season in a row without trophies is a big disappointment and we will need a big overhaul in the summer, starting from the manager.
When looking at Camavinga over the season, it seems like he is hit by low confidence lately. I hope he gets back to more normal self, because we need an exceptionel performance from the entire team tomorrow.
Thing i've noticed with this team is that the moment they are asked to work, press etc, there are reports coming out very quick that "they do not like the coach's practices etc" "they are not understood like Carlo's approach" etc, I do not trust these players at all. Players not willing to work/press etc should leave. One of these stars should be sold so we can reinforce the rest of the team.
Who's going to sell them? The management that enabled + rewarded their behavior and catered to their whims?
🚨 BREAKING: Anas Laghrari, a financial expert who has become Florentino Perez's right-hand man, wants a FULL REBUILD at Real Madrid, at EVERY LEVEL. @elmundoes pic.twitter.com/gtRKcNpXPh— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) April 16, 2026 Is he the new JAS?
The sad irony in all of this is that we were supposedly replacing older, slower, more technical players like Kroos, Modric, Benzema, Isco, with a younger, more physically dominant core of Camavinga, Tchouameni, Valverde, Bellingham, etc, which theoretically would overcome the loss in technical ability, yet instead our lack of running is constantly brought up as one of our largest issues.
There is more to a club than just the first team. I'd imagine that is interpreting the Women's team, medical department, fitness / physios, men's first team structure etc.
JAS has been with the club for decades, he is the architect of Perez's financial revolution at the club. It would take something significant to sideline him. There have been several ITK reports that there are disagreements between the two which is hampering decision making. IMO neither Lagrari nor JAS have the game prowess to take on the role of Sporting Director.
Basic psychology says that when you're physically dominant you don't have to spend as much time learning the technical and cerebral aspect of the game. Of course there are outliers like Cristiano, but you jus have a bunch of players that are football illiterates. Look at how we played with KCM under Zidane. Those players were so intelligent with defined attributes and roles that they could play the game multiple ways. I absolutely LOVED that we played Catenaccio shit on a stick football for some of our CL matches. We were in absolute control without the ball. With this team, we never feel in control when we have the ball or don't have the ball. Every attack from the opposing 16th place La Liga side feels threatening, and its not because of the backline. The midfield is dogshit in terms of technicallity and the superstars up top would not be walking into any of the XIs of the major teams a decade ago. You rely on them to be consistent but they just aren't good enough. It worked for Liverpool because of a couple of reasons: 1. Going hyper physical was new for the time period. It was able to overwhelm slower technical midfields in the CL. 2. It's the Premier League. Being bigger, stronger and faster when a majority of your competition also focuses on physicality means you're just better than them.
