Games that Camavinga is expected to miss. This is why we need depth

Exactly.... One issue in defence...and we lose Tchouameni in midfield....then big problem in the middle.

Need a CB + Davies imo.

    Very long season.

A bit off topic, but I'm hoping to go see the Real Madrid vs Mallorca on the 22nd September at the Bernabeu. I've a Madridista Premium account and I'm sure I'll be able to get a ticket on the app.

For those of you who used the app/Madridista account, how long before the match do the tickets go on sale?

Can't do anything about Davies this summer if Bayern doesn't want to sell. His current value is low due to previous flop season.

Such bad timing. Like there was a question around who will start between Camavinga and Rodrygo (at least in my head anyway). Now that settles it. If Rodrygo doesn't impress in the first few weeks but overall the team does well, could mean 4-3-3 going forward but with Guler or Brahim getting the shout ahead of Rodrygo.

Arda might be seeing a lot of action here in midfield I think.

Terrible.Camavinga always impress me more than Tchouameni in midfield his skills are unique and even more needed now with Kroos retired......Ceballos will get minutes and he is absolute trash ,Jude will need to step up as a central midfielder or we will have big problems .

Was this the same knee that Dembele injured when Cama was with the NT? I can’t remember. If so, I’d be inclined to think at some point that he will have a major injury as two exact injuries to the same knee is not great.

Ceballos is pretty far from being "absolute trash". He might not be the star player, but not only does he do a solid job most of the time, he is also aware that he is not the same level as our starters and holds no grudges over playing time. I'd say he deserves the minimum amount of respect for that, instead of being called "absolute trash" ;)

Ceballos holds the damn ball too long and over complicates the simple things. Where a one touch pass would have worked he has to; receive - feint, turn, dribble and then pass for the same outcome.

    Terrible?

We should be grateful he isn't out 6-7 months or even the whole year with how horrific that challenge was.

That tackle by Tchouameni would be a straight red card in any match and he whether through negligence or stupidity made such a challenge in practice.

Could have broken his leg and tore everything in his knee. We should be celebrating that is merely 2 months.

Different knee. He injured his right knee with France from a clash against Dembele. This one with Tchouameni is his left knee

6-7 weeks isn't bad given how horrible it looked. Couple of international breaks in early September and October as well.

Outside of Alaba, the squad is healthy. So long as Camavinga comes back fit in 8 weeks, it should be fine. I am much more worried about injuries piling up starting in december/january.

They need to experiment with formations without Tchouameni since he cannot be playing DM every game when he is also the 3rd CB. May have to roll out a double pivot to see how that works out.

Agree with everything here. I'll also add that this will set his season back even further. Sad as Cama is clearly the more talented of the two.

Tchouameni really pisses me off sometimes.

Tchou what are you doing bruv ?

and ofc it had to be Cama :/

For the issue with defense, we are light there's no way around it, we need a back up CB.

Its a bit unfortunate though, the slip made the challenge a lot worse.

No signing needed. We have Vallejo. Carvajal, Mendy and Davide can play CB. Problem solved.

Dani and Ferland sarcasm aside Vallejo and David are CB's who are paid to do that job on our team, if fit why would we not have them do it
