What a "report" So now Pintus is working on his physique? So before what was he working on.. his mentality? Emotional balance? This is the type of crap people absorb
Club is selling through JFD that Xabi's coaching staff was the reason for injuries and now Pintus will get all of them back in top shape. Yet we had bigger injury crisis last season.
Hope it changes this weekend. 🚨 Next game: Villarreal away.Real Madrid have only won 1 of the last 8 La Liga games at La Cerámica (2024/25). pic.twitter.com/slZ1y5ecRP— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) January 21, 2026
There are no guarantees going into that place. This is a test for Arbeloa and the lads to see if they've turned the corner. I hope that's the case. HALA MADRID!
Camavinga as DM then. Carreras will be available. ❗️REMINDER: Tchouameni is suspended and won't play against Villarreal on Saturday. pic.twitter.com/Ai9BM9AsIg— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) January 21, 2026
Just saw bits of a Quique Flores n Carreras might have to play CB if Asencio or Huijsen don’t make it back in time.
❗️ Up Next: Villarreal at La Ceramica.Real Madrid have only won 2 of the last 9 games there. pic.twitter.com/DC9CFOWQt9— Madrid Universal (@MadridUniversal) January 22, 2026 Vallecano and Villarreal have proven to be tough away games for us. This will be a huge game. If we press like we did against Monaco we will win. Unfortunately we are decimated at the back and have to play players out of positions to manage. Play the same XI as the last game. With Carreras in for Asencio
🔙🗣️Adebayor: “When I arrived at Real Madrid, I was told training is at 10:30am, I thought okay, let me come at 8:30am so I’m first. I arrive, I see nobody, I asked the physio ‘so I’m the first?…’ he said ‘no, Ronaldo is swimming.’” pic.twitter.com/0iKqfnA3pU— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) January 22, 2026
🔙 Journalist: "Are you a Mourinhista?"Arbeloa: "Of course!"Journalist: "And what is Mourinhismo?"Arbeloa: "It's not just about idolizing José. I love him. It's about always going forward and not being afraid to be the way you are. I always try to be the most Mourinhista… pic.twitter.com/DHY4Mxwqm0— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) January 22, 2026
Real Madrid remained the biggest-earning club in world soccer during the 2024-25 season, while Liverpool for the first time generated the most revenue in the Premier League https://reut.rs/4pY0BBp
I suspect it’s the stadium renovation. I admire the ambition of it and we do deserve a stadium that matches our stature, but once again I just wish the management had not screwed up the execution to the extent they have - loudness meaning no money from concerts, foldable pitch causing players to slip constantly, severly over budget (like most renovation projects to be honest lol)
Stadium still making so much money that they comfortably crossed 1 billion revenue two years in a row. Revenue grew massively in 2024-25 despite not having 70 ME one off VIP seats licensing fee of 2023-24. Not getting CB loan or even permanent deals in January is due to stubborness only. When they want a young offensive talent, there's 70 ME to spend on Endrick and 60 ME to spend on Franco without a second thought.
The board probably sees this in businessman terms: (shout out to Perez) Attackers as sales people = income generators Defenders as the technicians = unavoidable expense Like business people, they keep hiring arguably, an excessive amount of sales people to bring in revenue. You won't usually see a long queue here. Everything is easy. But tend to keep the amount of people who do fix problems to a bare minimum just to be able to say "hey we have aftersales support". The waiting time here is significantly longer as a result because the management wants to keep these expenses at a minimum.
🚨 JUST IN: Real Madrid are set to leave the EuroLeague & will join the ‘NBA Europe’ project as one of the 12 founding clubs. The NBA estimate that the value of ‘NBA Europe’ franchises will be around 1 Billion Dollars in 5-6 years. @COPE pic.twitter.com/0Vs2b0dF1w— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) January 22, 2026
We'll be playing with bums and nobodies there. The largest group of supporters sent a letter to the club that they are against the move, saying the responsibility of the club is to play in the best competition in Basketball. Which this NBA Europe will not be. Moreso, this is really looking just as a cheap way for Florentino to cash in on his idea that Real Madrid will be an NBA team one day, a thing he constantly floated around the first time he was elected. I don't understand this club's current obsession with breaking out of the community and trying to chase whatever pot of goal is at the end of whatever rainbow they spot.
Silver and FIBA are targeting a launch of October 2027 for NBA Europe. There will be 12 licensed or permanent teams — in Athens, Greece; Manchester, England; Lyon, France (ASVEL); Barcelona, Spain; London; Paris; Rome; Milan; Munich; Berlin; Istanbul and Madrid — with four spots available each year for qualification by virtually any pro team in Europe. Though a set of rules has not yet been drafted, one spot in the NBA Europe annual competition would go to the champion of FIBA’s annual European competition, called the Champions League. The other three spots would be earned through a qualifying tournament set up by FIBA for all the highest-performing teams in various domestic leagues. If, as expected, NBA Europe materializes, FIBA’s qualification competitions would take place in June 2027, international sources said. Officials from two banks assisting the NBA in its European pursuit, JPMorgan Chase and the Raine Group, were also part of the symposium. Negotiations are beginning now on entrance fees for the 12 teams, with, sources said, a likely fluctuating scale based on market size. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6983328/2026/01/19/nba-europe-pau-gasol-investors/
Per Eurohoops sources, in most cases, the clubs were present to conduct their due diligence, and while many of them were directly and informally approached by investors, the fact that there’s no info yet about the potential revenues of the project, but talk only about the obligations of the clubs, which would want to become permanent “franchises” including the rumored 500M euros entry fee, makes things complicated. https://www.eurohoops.net/en/nba-ne...still-sceptical-about-the-nba-europe-project/ Adam Silver is looking for a way to expand the NBA broadcast package. The European clubs are supposed to deliver more content he can package alongside the NBA and the WNBA for more broadcast money and more gambling cash. Arguably the worst commissioner in US sports right now.
🚨 Arbeloa on Fede Valverde and Camavinga as full-backs: "All I can say is that all the players are eager to help the team. They put the team's interests above their personal interests.""Neither Valverde nor Camavinga have caused any problems. They delivered a fantastic match… pic.twitter.com/MtIIk8Sh0u— Madrid Universal (@MadridUniversal) January 23, 2026 Arbeloa saying all the right things in the media so far. I like it, defends every single player.
Cama should have been more willing to develop into a LB. Now we have Carreras who is a lock for LB. Cama will need to get minutes where he can. Fede stays at RB for me.
We all know what “ahead of schedule” means. 🚨Info. Militão is ahead of schedule in his recovery and could return by late February. #rmcf 🇧🇷— Mohamed✆ (@BlancoInsight) January 23, 2026
